From BMX to road, to mountain bikes, the key to enjoyment on two wheels is to make sure that the bike is properly maintained. Chain lubrication presents somewhat of a challenge (especially for bikes used off road or in harsh elements. Too little lube and you introduce friction and possibly corrosion, too much lube and dirt attaches itself to the chain and/or the lubricant flies all over the place making the bike a grimy mess. ...Well, I am not a regular cider drinker nor regular drinker of anything alcoholic. When the time came for me and a few friends, plus a cousin of mine, to go for a late-night BBQ, I somehow found myself in charge of getting the drinks. I wanted something cheap and strong. I knew the intention of most people was to get drunk and not to enjoy the taste and texture of the drink. I looked in supermarkets and off-licenses when I got the chance. I was looking to achieve a balance between strength of the drink, quantity and price. Quality was not an issue for this particular purchase. White Lightning cider was pretty much the only contender. At £3.99 for a huge 3 LITRE plastic bottle of the stuff from Tesco it seemed amazing value. I bought three bottles because it was so damn cheap, and the alcohol content was high - 7.5%. Perfect... ...The Breville Lightning will boil two cups of water (0.5 litre) in less than 47 seconds, fast or what. So there I was that dreaded time when the old kettle has had it's day and you are in need of a new one, with so many on the market it's hard to find one that fits your requirements. But the Breville Lightning has some extra little features that other kettle don't and that's what made my decision. So after getting home and unpacking the kettle, the instruction manual, which small, straight to the point and very easy to understand, tells you to fill the kettle to it's max point (1.7 litres) and boil the water, pour out and then repeat the process. .... So...would I recommend it? Yes I would actually despite its shortcomings. If you like K cider then you'll probably like Diamond White as well. If you like dry cider in general then again its worth trying out, but if your idea of a good cider is Woodpecker, White Lightning etc. then you'll probably want to give it a miss.... Read review

...My flatmate is something of a gadget freak. If it does something technological or lights up in pretty colours whilst doing something mundane, he has to have one. After building himself a shelving unit to hold all his home entertainment equipment, he added a string of blue lights around the edges to make it all look that little bit more impressive. So when our 2 year old kettle started showing signs of being on the way out, taking more time than was necessary to make a cup of tea and being covered in a thick layer of limescale that seemed to be impervious to descaler, it was a pretty obvious bet that he would come back with a Breville Lightning kettle, which lights up in blue when you turn it on. Even then, he wasn't entirely happy, as he'd heard of a kettle that lit up in both red and blue and he really wanted one of those... Read review

At every point in the game, you can choose whether to choose the ‘Good’ or the ‘Bad’ way of doing things. One good example of this, in the first land you must get a ‘Gate Stone’ from a villager. She asks you to find her missing husband and then she will give you the stone. You could do as she asks, or you could forget about her lost husband, knock her house down, take the stone and maybe sacrifice her while you’re at it. The story of the game is that you control a newly created god (one is created everytime someone prays), fighting for power and the belief of the people of Eden. ...This is one of Mattel's motorised Shake and Go toys from the Pixar CGI film "Cars" which are released under the Fisher Price banner. The film is incredibly popular with children of all ages and the merchandise is still selling well years after the film was released in the cinema. This toy in particular is Lightning McQueen, the main character from the film. He is a racing car who gets lost on the way to a race and ends up in the sleepy town of Radiator Springs. The toy has a reasonably good likeness to the character from the film with all the stickers faithfully reproduced. However, like the other toys in this line, the design is stylised, presumably to accommodate the mechanism inside. When you shake the car from side to side an engine start-up noise is heard.
