Advantages: variety of games to play
Disadvantages: Slow loading
...Mario & Sonic at the olympic games was the first game i bought after getting a Wii for christmas.
I personally think that it is an excellent first game to get for the Wii. You can happily play for hours and hours becuase of the wide variety of events you can play. These events include;
*"Swimming"
*"Archery"
*"Running"
*"Hurdles"
*"Long jump"
*"Triple jump"
*High jump"

*"Trampoline"
*"Vault"
*"Rowing"
*"Skeet"
*"Tennis"
So as you can see by this list you have a wide variety to choose from but you also have the options of unlocking different games, this can be done by breaking records and so on. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is fun for all the family to enjoy because it has a multiplayer option of upto 4 people. You also get to choose from all your favourite...

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)
Advantages: Great fun, realistic actions
Disadvantages: Will tire you out easily
...At The Olympic Games firstly on the Nintendo Wii, but followed shortly on the handheld DS, and I must admit it's a cracker!
With all the talk about games consoles these days being no good for children, who sit bashing buttons when they should be outside getting exercise, Mario & Sonic comes as a breath of fresh air, as after a few rounds of events and waving the Wii remote around, I certainly was soon out of breath.
There's 24 events to choose from which will work out a certain part of your body and co-ordination, from reaction speeds to accuracy. Most events require you to use both the Wii remote and Nunchuck, but some only need the remote. The most common action which is used on a lot of events, such as the 100m sprint and swimming, is to wave the remote and nunchuck up and down as fast as possible. Believe me, you will get tired after doing this...

On your Marios, Get Sonic, Wii!
Advantages: Makes great use of the wii controller, good for multi- or singleplayer, exercise
Disadvantages: none for me.
...Nintendo's had a great idea with this one: a game which appeals to fans of Mario, Sonic, sports games, and children who want a brightly coloured game thats a lot of fun. I think you'd have to look far to find someone who couldn't find anything to like in this game.
In this game, you get to play a variety of Olympics sports on the wii, either against the computer or with a group of friends, providing you have enough controllers. You can choose between 20 characters, who are all from the Mario games on Nintendo or Sonic's Sega games, for example you can play as Tails, Yoshi, Amy, and even Princess Daisy, who my friends tell me is from the first Mario adventure. Each of them has their own strengths: for example sonic is fast, but dr robotnik (annoying called dr eggman in this game) is really strong. This means that if you're doing a 100m...

Mario Kart Wii
Advantages: The tried and tested success story is updated for a next-gen console
Disadvantages: The single player is still so eclipsed by the multiplayer
...enjoy racing against friends. (though the single player is definatley worth playing).
It's a great family game, and is very inkeeping with the idea of wii- inclusiveness. This mario kart is the most accessable for veterans and newcomers alike. Remember when you used to play racers and you'd tilt the controller when your car turned a curb? This is now mandatory if you choose to use the wiimote plugged into the very ergonomic steering wheel.
There is a lot of fun to be had here, and unlike some games on the wii it really does have replay value. Believe me when I say that you have not experienced true satisfaction like hitting a friend with a blue shell when (s)he's on the line- and you haven't experienced agony until it's happened to you. If you play this game, you will quickly understand what I mean....

Mario Kart wii
Advantages: music, wii wheel, online
Disadvantages: grand prix, cant fight on your own in battle mode
...with this is the older courses aren't designed to cater for midair stunts.
Mario Kart wii has the same selection of old weapons plus a few new ones that it welcomes. One of the new items is the POW block that Karts and bikes in the middle of the course get when you fire it shakes all the cars in front of it, however you can avoid it by shaking the wiimote. The thunder cloud while it's over your head it earns you a speed boost but after a time period has elapsed it fires a lightening bolt down at you, you pass can pass this weapon on to other people by bumping into other karts when it's on top of you. There is also a mega mushroom which tearns you into a giant of a period of time and you can flatten every other driver you can touch, it is a lot like the golden mushroom in new super Mario bros. for the DS.
The battle system which features...

MARIO KART WII!
Advantages: EVERYTHING
Disadvantages: NOTHING.
...of the top of my head.
The graphic details of each and every track are well thought out and brilliantly expressed. Theyre fun, unique and interesting, also, within your wii mees, you can tick which are your favourites, your favourite wii mees will be in the mario kart racing tracks in places, for example on bill boards or engraved on statues etc!
Now the characters, when you first start off you can play as several characters though with around eleven to unlock. You unlock these characters and bikes via completing courses, playing mario kart wfc many times and through time trials. The unlockable characters include; Rosalina, Toadette, Bowser Jr, Daisy, Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, Baby Daisy, Dry bones, Dry Bowser, Baby Luigi, and Birdo. (Please note these are not in order).
You graded once completing a set of races, with a gold cup, silver...

I've always been stuck, which to go for Mario or Sonic, so I am so glad they teamed up and made a game together. And the Olympics, what a great place to compete in the world of sports, and Wii.

My latest addiction - Mario Kart Wii
Advantages: fun, great single and multiplayer options, can play online against randoms or friends
Disadvantages: battle mode is rubbish, expensive
...This is a review about my latest addiction ? Mario Karts! The game is in simple terms a driving game where you can race in the different grand prix cups, against friends or random people online as well as a few other game options. I have never particularly enjoyed racing games on any games console as I am horrendous at them and lose all the time and in my frustration usually end up throwing the control at my opponents head and get banned from playing! We brought Mario Karts for the Wii as we were sold by the adverts where you have the whole family playing against each other using the Wii Wheels! We had also heard some friends saying how much they loved theirs and the next day had ordered the game on Amazon.
The game includes all the well known Mario Characters and you unlock access to some of them as you improve on the game. You can...

Mario & Sonic finally together
Advantages: good graphics, makes good use out of the Wii controls in some games,
Disadvantages: controls can be bad in some greats, worldwide online should of been used,
...Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is the best Olympic game that is out there is pure fun all the way. The game features a whole load of events such as athletics, gymnastics, shooting, rowing, archery, aquatics, fencing, and table tennis also included the dream events. The dream events are nothing really to do with the Olympics and are fun.
You can chose from all your favorite characters from the Mario and Sonic series also add your Mii into the action. I found a problem as my favorite game character Donkey Kong was not added and he is part of Mario. My favorite to play in what the game offers is Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, Wario and Browser. My favorite on the game is the skeet shooting and the aquatics events which have you in the pool. The game wears you out easy but you will want to keep playing because it does get very addictive...
