...Van Wilder: Party Liaison is a comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds and Tara Reid with Kal Penn and Daniel Cosgrove the most notable supporting cast. Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) has been at Coolidge College for seven years and has shown no intention of graduating. He is enjoying his time there and spends it partying, helping his fellow students and organising parties and fundraisers. Understandably, Van's father no longer wishes to pay for his 'education' and withdraws his funding. As Van is the big man on campus, the college paper journalist, Gwen (Tara Reid) is asked to write a paper on him and his exploits. This is such a success that she writes a follow up paper. Van attempts to romance Gwen but she is already involved with Richard (Daniel Cosgrove) so the two men start up a rivalry with one another which results in them playing...

Wilder van your average college

Advantages: Mindless humour
Disadvantages: Can be annoying in places

...I expected to hate this & was surprised to find it was very funny., very well made & some excellent set pieces. It's the story of Van Wilder, a slacker, a loser and and underachiever who just can't get on in school. The rather disgusting but very funny scene of the rich kids eating the dog cum cakes. The fact that the rich boyfriend couldn't have sex for longer than 10 seconds. The film is generally a large amount of National Lampoons Animal House and some good characters. Van Wilder is excellently played, not too hard & not too far. All the main actors work very hard especially Van's 2 room mates who develop very well during the course of the movie. It's nice to see the back story of how Van helps the nerds & the swim team & various other less popular people of the school. I didn't really care too much for the girlfriend...

Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Welcome Home

Advantages: A hotel brimming with personality and themed to perfection
Disadvantages: Expensive. But you get what you pay for.

The Palms Retreat and Restaurant, Wilderness

Advantages: Great food, beautiful decor, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Absolutley nothing!

...My husband and I spent two nights in The Palms in Wilderness in February and we can say without hesitation that this truly is a gem in the Garden Route. Where Wilderness itself is a little unspectacular (An opinion which is possibly tainted somewhat by the grey and rainy weather) - It does sit in a perfect position to take your pick from a plethora of outing possibilities. Your only problem may be that there is so much to choose from. The Palms itself is in no way unspectacular. It is truly a little oasis? Nestled in lush gardens the rooms are secluded and private and finished with a combination of cool African chic and attention to detail which begs the question as to how a fifth star is missing from their official ratings. But this is not pretentious chic, this is natural, comfortable-in-its-own-skin chic. Somehow...

Review of Palms, Wilderness

Pryor and Wilder's BEST!!!!

Advantages: very funny, great acting, good story
Disadvantages: Dated!

...managed to put so much more into this film and their face added a lot of the humour with the silly expressions they did and also Gene Wilder?s eyes! The DVD which we have does have one bonus feature which is Filmographics but I have not taken the time to watch or view this as I have no interest in it. The running time of this film is 106 minutes which I felt was just the right length as any longer and they would have made the story drag out and made it a little boring. The certificate on the film is a 15 as there are some drug references and strong language in the film but I feel that perhaps more mature 13 or 14 year olds would really enjoy this film. I am definitely going to recommend this film as personally I feel it is the pair best together and you cannot fail to laugh at the crazy things to pair get up to when they find...

Its Not About Revenge... Its About Punishment

Advantages: A British "horror" movie with enough gore to satisfy fans of the genre...
Disadvantages: ... yet lacks the tension that horror fans crave.

..."Wilderness" begins in a male young offenders institution, where conditions are pretty harsh. Offenders are locked in dark, damp cells with up to nine other inmates. Bullying is ripe in the institution, and tends to be focused towards two of the most timid inmates, until one morning one of these "targets", Davey, is found dead in his bed having slashed his own wrists. The prison warden demands action be taken, and the inmates are sent to a supposedly uninhabited island off the UK mainland on a survival / teambuilding exercise. It soon becomes apparant that they are not alone, and one by one the inmates meet gruesome endings... This new British horror movie is from director Michael J. Bassett, who previously directed the movie "Deathwatch", starring Jamie Bell. Wilderness is classified as a horror, although I feel it fails...

Advantages: Cheap and great comedy
Disadvantages: Waiting is a dull film

...what id expect of Ryan Reynolds. Its also a nice love story, you can see all the way through how they both feel about it but they just cant see it themselves. Its hilarious when the film shows you him in high school. Definately a must see movie if you like your chick flick comedy. Disadvantages: Dire, dull, repetitive, very similar to other titles

...a funny comment on a piece of old film. When Strange Wilderness had finished I was happy, this was a dull and boring movie interaction I'd not recommend, even to my worst enemy. If you're offended by sexual reference, fart jokes, or racism then this movie is unlikely to be for you either. Strange Wilderness sneaked through UK cinemas overnight and is due on DVD in September.   The Wilder West

Advantages: Unspoiled wilderness, fascinating sights and sites
Disadvantages: Persistent rainfall, persistent sandflies

...on any of their longer (and rather expensive) guided nature-discovery expeditions. The shorter, more local ones, included in the price, were brief and rather elementary. In fairness to the Wilderness Lodge most things - excellent breakfast and dinner, use of canoes and facilities - are included in the price. But at NZ$250 (£92 approx) per person per night, the price is hefty; indeed, it was the most expensive place we stayed in the whole of our round-the-world trip. In our view, pleasant though it was, it didn't quite measure up in terms of value for money. The bedrooms, in particular, were pretty ordinary. In the interests of taking the smooth with the rough, it was an experience and I don't regret having stayed there. But I wouldn't do so if I visited the area again, and I wouldn't recommend it...

I Had some Avon Wilderness for Men some time ago, when the Avon Wilderness for Men range had just been brought out. A few weeks before Christmas we had a visit form a new Avon lady who had just started up in our new housing estate. A modern housing estate full of young professional couples? Ideal pickings for a new Avon lady, I would have thought? And so, nearly £30.00 later, it proved! (And I bought my stuff at special offer prices!
