AdvantagesAn inexpensive way to get close up to some wildlife. Well laid out. Very good free guides.

DisadvantagesNot very disabled friendly but then I don't supose many jungle places could be.

...We recently visited the New Forest Wildlife Park as a family. It was a fantastic day out and full of lots of animals in well designed, spacious enclosures and a unique way of allowing guests to get up close to the animals whilst letting them roam free. For just under £30 for two adults and 1 child under 13 we had a really lovely day. The Wildlife Park is situated near Ashurst in the new forest...

...The Highland Wildlife Park is situated 7 miles from Aviemore in the village of Kincraig, so it is easily acessible from the A9 by car or bus and there are also good rail links to Aviemore (where you can then get a bus to Kincraig) When you arrive at the Wildlife Park there is a kiosk to pay so you just wind down the window of your car to pay. It costs £10 per child, £11.50 for pensioners...
