Wilson Ksix-one tour tennes racket

Advantages: Good control racket
Disadvantages: Heavy racket

...Roger Federer's racket for the tour, the one he has been using from the Australian Open 2007 onwards. The racket comes from Wilson. When I play with this racket, I found that the racket swings through just a bit quicker than the nSix One Tour (the old style racket). It gave the impression of being a bit more aerodynamic through the air, both for groundstrokes and serves, thus adding power. The string bed seeemed to give more bite on the ball which gave more potential for spin & control. Conclusion: If you have the ability to cope with a heavy racket, then you will definately get more power and control from your game. Would suit all advanced players or extreme hard hitters. Wilson are always my racket of choice from the first time I pickd up the original pro staff tour (Sampras's racket of choice)...

The Beauty That Delivers!

Advantages: Looks, light weight,
Disadvantages: Squeaks at start, doesnt give the greatest power

...The Overview Level: Intermediate/Advance Type: Offensive ( Smashing / Power Play ) Flex: Medium Stiff Head: Square / Isometric Weight: 84gm(4U-) B.Pt: 7 (Head Heavy) Head: [K]Factor nCoded Hyper Carbon Shaft: [K]Factor nCoded Hyper Carbon Cover: Wilson [K]Factor Full Cover Introduction I?ve played for 3 years, and bought the Wilson K Pro 4 months ago.. and since day one, its been exactly what I wanted it to be. Just like you have probably looked around at loads of new rackets to find the one that best suits your play, but all you get is the old ?medium flex, intermediate level of play? and little bits of information that don?t really help you, I did the same. So here?s my review of the racket, and exactly what I think of it Looks (This is a huge factor and we all deny it) It does look simply amazing.. the blue and white design...

Head LM 120 Squash racket

Advantages: Light but tough
Disadvantages: poor factory grip

...I bought this squash racket as a amateur after my last racket broke the strings and I thought it better to buy a good racket rather than replace the strings. The price was fantastic as a i bought it in Lilywhites with 70% off, but if buying full price i would say it is a bit pricey. However the performance of the racket if top draw. I've had it for a few years now and still it is serving me very well. The durability of this racket is one of the hidden qualities i have found. With me not being a brilliant squash player, I've had my fair share of wall hits, but the protective plastic on the frame is still protecting and it has not even chipped or scratched. The racket also looks very good and I've been asked many a time if i could lend my racket for people to have a go. it hits well and suits a hard hitting game but can equally handle...

An in between Racket

Advantages: Great racket to play with
Disadvantages: Expensive for a first buy

...Ok, So you are too old for your Junior racket but not quite ready to handle the full size and stiffness of an Adult Racket. Well there is a compromise folks. If you are lloking to buy your kids a racket or feel like taking up the game again but cant handle the ball pinging off in all directions as your touch has gone, look into this racket. I went back to the game after some time Last year and could not get on with my old racket. It was so stiff, It felt like my friend was firing rocks at the strings. So off to the shops I went to invest. A Wilson racket means one thing. Quality. It will last and last if you dont get annoyed and throw it around the court in frustration. The titanium pro is just such a racket. Its light weight body means you are not going to develop any complaints form using it. you may even stay...

Review of Wilson Titanium Pro

A perfect racket for Nadal worshippers and club players alike

Advantages: A lot of power and a large sweet spot
Disadvantages: Paintwork etc prome to being chipped away easily

...Provided you have reasonably powerful legs and arms, and basic core strength this racket will treat you very well. It will deliver for you countless inside-out forhand winners and vicious down the line drives with great satisfaction and little effort. However, you do need strength to use this racket - and proper technique is a necessity if you plan on using any babolat. Countless times my friends attempt to use my Aero Pro Drive without proper tennis coaching and find balls spinning hopelessly over the court fencing! This racket has massive power at its disposal but to release it without a lot of effort on your behalf you must have a consistent and effective technique in both bread and butter baseline swings. If you feel that this is the racket for you, i would recommend trying it (or any similar Babolat model) first to make sure you...

Charlie Wilson's Fight for Afghanistan

Advantages: Great Acting, excellent story
Disadvantages: Some sad scenes of the Afghan suffering

...Charlie Wilson's War is a film which I had been undecided about for a few weeks so I finally took the plunge and bought it. I think the deciding factor was that it stared Tom Hanks and Julie Roberts, both of which I like. The film features Charlie Wilson, played by Tom Hanks who is a party loving Congress man. He is good friends with Joanne who is a rich Socialite, played by Julia Roberts. Joanne manages to talk Charlie into looking at the troubles in Afghanistan where they are being invaded by the Russians. Charlie goes and sees the troubles first hand and is shocked at what he finds. He does agree to help Joanne by getting the weapons and ammunition which they need to defend their country. To do this Charlie is helped by a CIA agent, Gust Avrakotos and soon finds he needs to persuade the Congress to give them large amounts of money...

Really nice racket to play with

Advantages: Powerful, Comfortable grip, nice weight ratio, good head size, nice looking
Disadvantages: Part of the shaft has a square shaft which I occasionally rest my hand on and can hurt...Thats it!

...I am a keen tennis player, having played from an early age I have always had favourite brands which I opted to play with, When I was 13 I changed to my first Wilson racket, and since then I have never changed... . The [K]Blade is the last racket that I changed to; I bought it as soon as it came out and loved the way it plays, the frame is relatively stiff, and the 98 produces quite alot of power, I have never been a user of the really heavy rackets because I like to get alot of racket head speed behind the ball so with a lighter racket I find it easier...Still with a 304g weight it still fells like you have something in your hand. . Now most performance player will change the grip of the racket straight away and put an overgrip on, the only reason why I did this was because I didn't want to have to replace the original grip over...

Review of Wilson K Factor KBlade 98 Racquet

Power from Kontrol

Advantages: Nice design
Disadvantages: Poor strings

...I recently purchased a wilson K tour racket so heres the review: Looks The racket is very well designed and has an eye catching look to it. It is a mixture of red, black and white in to be honest, a strange pattern! The black and white contrast well and the red brightens in up a bit. I have already had several comments from people while playing at my local park about how nice the racket looks. It is fitted with a orange grip, im not entirely sure what type it is but it is very spongy and soft which is nice for my hands. Some tennis rackets give me blisters if I play for too long but this grip hasn't caused me any problems so far thankfully. Play-ability (if thats a word) The racket feels perfect for me at 340g it is ideal for an advanced player such as myself. It has a relatively small head size at 90 sq in which I have found to...

Charlie Wilson's War - Sheer Brilliance

Advantages: Engrossing, clever, an eye-opener.
Disadvantages: none

...Director: Mike Nichols Screenplay: Aaron Sorkin Book: George Crile Genre: Biography - Drama Country: USA Certification: 15+ Language: English Released: 5th May, 2008 (DVD) MAIN CAST: Tom Hanks (Charlie Wilson) Amy Adams (Bonnie Bach) Julia Roberts (Joanne Herring) Philip Seymour Hoffman (Gust Avrakotos) In the early 1980's, the USA was smack in the middle of a cold war with Russia. While The USA was keeping a close watch on Russia's growing army and tensions were at there highest, the Russians invaded Afghanistan in an attempt to enrich themselves with the country's crude oil. Because Afghanistan did not have an acting army, it was down to the people to defend themselves against the Russians... not an easy task considering that they didn't have the necessary weapons to fight. With the Russians...
