...I bought this squash racket as a amateur after my last racket broke the strings and I thought it better to buy a good racket rather than replace the strings. The price was fantastic as a i bought it in Lilywhites with 70% off, but if buying full price i would say it is a bit pricey. However the performance of the racket if top draw. I've had it for a few years now and still it is serving me very well. The durability of this racket is one of the hidden qualities i have found. With me not being a brilliant squash player, I've had my fair share of wall hits, but the protective plastic on the frame is still protecting and it has not even chipped or scratched. Wilson Ksix-one tour tennes racket

Advantages: Good control racket
Disadvantages: Heavy racket

...Roger Federer's racket for the tour, the one he has been using from the Australian Open 2007 onwards. The racket comes from Wilson. When I play with this racket, I found that the racket swings through just a bit quicker than the nSix One Tour (the old style racket). It gave the impression of being a bit more aerodynamic through the air, both for groundstrokes and serves, thus adding power. The string bed seeemed to give more bite on the ball which gave more potential for spin & control. Conclusion: If you have the ability to cope with a heavy racket, then you will definately get more power and control from your game. Would suit all advanced players or extreme hard hitters. Wilson are always my racket of choice from the first time I pickd up the original pro staff tour (Sampras's racket of choice)...

Dunlop Aerogel Elite, full racquet review!

Advantages: Good balance between power and accuracy, large head size and durable.
Disadvantages: Power is limited when compared with other racquets that have a smaller throat.

The only thing I would recommend is upgrading the strings to some Technifibre 17 guage strings which will deliver more control, power and grip when hitting the ball. In conclusion, I would recommend this racquet because I believe it represents good value for money and will serve you well on the squash court! Advantages: keeps you fit, social, strategic

...Squash is a very tactical game involving two players (or four for doubles) in a four wall hall holding raquets, the aim is to hit the rubber ball against the opposite wall, in between the two lines repeatedly, scoring points. The court is marked with two serving boxes. Which ball used in the game defers the speed and bounce of the ball, as they are colour coded. this varies the game difficulty and experience level. Squash is a very demanding game in which you have to be physically fit for, but at the same time it is very strategic and social. I tend to play squash as it socialises me with people and keeps you very fit in a fun way. I also like tennis but i believe squash pushes me to the next level as it is more challenging and a worlwide sport. Anyone for Squash?

Advantages: energetic, great for burning calories, a game which can be played by families or couples
Disadvantages: some injuries can't be avoided but no pain, no gain!

...regular drinks and a towel to dry yourself. Should you want to get more competitive, most places where there are squash courts will have a league or club and so you can put your name down for leagues or competitions and take it as far as you want. Its the kind of game you love or hate. The more you put into the game the more you'll get out but isn't that the case with every sport or pastime? I just love the constant competitive edge you get with it even when you are alone on the court. It's not a sport you can either take or leave. It's one which I think is adictive. I hope this might encourage some couples to take up their rackets and try a game....
