...After using Yahoo Messenger and MSN quite a while ago, when i received my new lap top from work, I thought that I might as well download it as everyone is using it and at that particular time I wasn't. Windows Messenger is basically MSN Messenger and if you do a search on google or any other main serach engine you can find the the link to download it. Downloading takes seconds if you are on Broadband however if you are still not technologically advanced and still on dial up i can take hours and more than likely crashed half way though so can take days to actually install. To have the Instant Messaging account you need to have an email address created that people can add to their individual accounts, without an email address you can't actually use it. Windows 7 - The Best OS Yet!

Advantages: Great new toolbar, excellent personalisation, overall brilliant design

Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.

But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions. Speed: 9/10 Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time) Program Compatablilty: 8/10 Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. When i first received it i accessed it very quickly and was surprised to see how easily i was able to get online and play with millions of people all around the world. All i needed to do was enter the code and i could start playing. The benefits of going live is mainly playing against people all around the world and making new friends. But if you are a hardcore gamer, this is the perfect place to be as you get to challenge the best around the world and you even get ranked. What's more is that you can even download exclusive things only from the xbox live marketplace where you can't get from anywhere else. Overall: A must get for all xbox 360 owners. ...Xbox Live is good value compared to some other online subscriptions e.g. World of Warcradt or Everquest as with these you pay everymonth just for one game, whereas with xbox live you only pay once to go online with pretty much all your games. You then get tempted, however, to pay for extra online contect such as extra levels, characters, backdrops for your xbox live dashboard, arcade games etc. etc. So it's never as cheap as it seems! The service on xbox live is good and it's rare to have connection issues so gameplat online tends to be smooth. Occasionally you may shoot at someone only to find they already moved- lag is rare but does happen and can be annoying. The range of games that can be played online is excellent, and isn't just shooting and fighting! Guitar hero plays online brilliantly with options for guitar battles...
