...Windows 7 Review With the recent release of the new Microsoft operating system windows 7 many people believe windows vista will be forgotten about with its constant security alerts and lack of user options. The new operating system has many new features which I will run through now. Firstly the new taskbar down at the bottom is a lot easier on the eye as it no longer has any text whatsoever, instead Microsoft have opted to use just the logo of the software the user currently has running. Windows 7 - The Best OS Yet!

Advantages: Great new toolbar, excellent personalisation, overall brilliant design
Disadvantages: Really similar to Vista.

...In July, I downloaded the Release Candidate of Windows 7 to evaluate the new operating system and I have to say it's the best version of Windows yet! It surpasses Vista in every way. Windows 7 is not available yet but I'm encouraging all Vista uers to upgrade in October as soon as the software is released. In the rest of my review I will outline some of the key features. For starters, the toolbar has been changed dramatically. Windows 7 - it makes Vista look like a beta

Advantages: smooth, quick, easy to install and use, pretty to look at, simplified for the masses
Disadvantages: Vista should have been like this - Microsoft robbed us!

That?s where the ?it looks like Vista? comments come from. Windows 7 is Vista without all the rubbish. Everything people moaned about in vista is gone (or improved) and 7 is more spangly and all singing and dancing. It looks better, runs more smoothly and is simple to use. Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.

Windows 7 - a great operating system.

Advantages: looks great, easy to use, nice new taskbar, high compatibility
Disadvantages: cost is still high

...I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate. I had not minded Windows Vista as much as other people; my computer has a 2.13GHz dual core processor and 4GB of RAM. Windows 7 doesn't actually seem to be any faster, but it has some better features and is overall easier to use. It took about 2 hours to upgrade, which isn't bad but it's not amazingly fast. It runs all of my programs that ran under Vista no problem, and some of my hardware is actually now supported that wasn't supported in Vista. I haven't found anything that doesn't work after upgrading. I still recommend that you run the "Windows 7 upgrade advisor" first just to make sure. The new taskbar looks a bit different, but don't be worried, you'll get used to it, and once you do you'll find out that it's a big improvement. Programs no longer have text, just...

Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec

Advantages: A great car from all angles
Disadvantages: Not as many extras included as I would have liked

....00 of petrol which is pretty good especially in a traffic congested area. The tax is £79.75 for 6 months so that too is economical and the insurance is cheap. The handling is superb with no problems with either under-steer or over-steer and has never slid in rain though have not tried it on the ice yet! The zetec engine means the car has a 'bit of go' and doesnt feel sluggish when pulling away from lights. Most focus cars of this age (mine is a 2003) comes standard with elec windows, cd player and alloys but was surprised it didn't come with air-con as standard. The interior is modern yet quite plain and simple. What I like about this car is that it is big enough on the inside to accommodate 4 large passengers with bags of space for bags etc in the boot yet it is still quite a petite classy looking car making it easy to drive, park...

...UPVC window frames; it really cuts through all the muck and leaves the frames looking like new. I use it on my front door which has an almost plastic like coating over the wood and it gets off hand marks etc really quickly and with a minimum of effort. The smell is unusual and I cannot really describe it other than saying it smells clean but very chemically. It isn't horrible though just not particularly 'nice'. A bottle costs around £1.35 but can also be found on offer a lot which makes it better value. Frankly I think it is easily worth the price as it really is the best window/glass cleaner I have found. A bottle lasts quite a while too, I clean my windows weekly and a bottle lasts me about 6 weeks....
