...On The Black Spot and Speed Camera addition was also being given away in the price when I purchased this part of the system I do have some problems with. It picks up Black Spot areas easily and accuratly but it is constantly telling me that there is a mobile police van near even when I am on empty roads so that part I question however I must add that the Fixed Cameras are very accurate and always picked up. This service is easily updated by plugging in via USB to your laptop or PC. My overall opinion on the Road Angel is fantastic and better than many systems I have used it has been my angel on my windscreen for 9 months and I feel no need to change it....

Windscreen Smasher

They tried morning, noon and night for several days, but I just could not do it until one day I heard a voice which had become very familiar to me. Leaking Windscreen

Advantages: Came out to me
Disadvantages: Job not right first time

...I had my windscreen fitted by a guy from Autoglass in Cambridge. Unfortunately a leak developed and I had to call again for them to sort it out. They were pretty prompt in sending someone back out who was absolutely superb. He managed to get the windscreen out without breaking it, he sussed the problem with it being a dodgy seal which was done by the original bloke.The new guy that came out had been doing the job for years and he was truly fantastic I wish that he had done the job first of all so if anybody needs a great job on their car ask for Noel at the Cambridge branch. Overall service was good even though there was a mistake made by the first chap....

Review of Race X 18" Sports Wiper Blade

The Pure Highway saved my life

Advantages: Very Portable and very easy to use
Disadvantages: Suffers from poor signal in some remote areas

...I use the Pure Highway every day in my truck and I have to say it is brilliant. It tunes into a spare FM band on my in cab radio and sounds first class. It is so easy to use and looks great as well. The Pure Highway fits into a small space on my windscreen out of the wiper swipe and keeps me legal. The Highway takes its power from the cigarette lighter and has an internal Arial that is fixed to the windscreen. I found this system ok for most journeys but when I was in more remote parts of the country I suffered from digital drop out. The pure allows you to fade this rather than here that awful screeching sound. I eventually purchased an outside Arial that fits on the cab roof via a magnetic base. This allows me 100% coverage all over the UK so far. I rely on my Pure Highway every day and I have to say it has never let me down...

Review of Pure Digital Highway IN-CAR DAB Tuner

So far so good

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: Needs an external aerial to get full advantage (in my case anyway)

...I used to have a DAB radio in my old Vauxhall Vectra company car & when it came to replace it I went for a Toyota which doesn't have a DAB as standard (£1500 upgrade with sat-nav, rear camera etc) even though it has a DAB button so I went for a Pure Highway, as previously stated these take up more space on the windscreen with cables everywhere. I came up with the solution of fitting it into my centre console armrest, out of sight, open the cover to change channels, luckily my armrest has a 12V socket & a Aux in so I don't have to use the FM transmitter. Unfortunately the aerial cable was too short so I bought a 2.5mm connector 2m extension cable off e-bay. I tried the windscreen mounted aerial in several windows, I relly wanted to put it in the side quarter panel (I've had windscreens replaced on most of my cars so didn't want to...

Renault Laguna a great family estate.

Advantages: A geat family car for those who dont want a people carrier
Disadvantages: Car key is a card pricy to replace

...I brought a Renault Laguna 1.9TD Sport Tourer In April of this year. I paid £2300 for an 03reg. You get a high quality car for a relativly small amount of money. The Sport Tourer comes with part leather interior, three 3 point seatbelts which is a must for anybody with children, a cd player, air con, Abs, 6 speed gears, heated front and rear windscreens and lots more. I have three young children and didn't want to purchase a people carrier instead I opted for this estate and so far have been extremely pleased with my purchase.It has a fantastically large boot which fits my double buggy in with ease and still has enough room for shopping. ...After being with Budget insurance for quite a few years and being RIPPED OFF !!!! I moved to Norwhich Insurance. Tehy were very polite and the Quote was outstanding. We literally halfed our insurance policy and this was by doing it by Direct Debit. I have only claimed once from them and that was when my windscreen was smashed by someone. I telephoned them and they organised for an Autoglass block to come out. He arrived in about an hour. What a service. He fixed the windscreen ( I had to pay excess of £50) and I was on the road again. One this I can say about Norwich Union is that there insurances beat or match all others and their customer service standard are very high. I really would reccommend anyone to join Norwhich Union for these reasons alone....

TOMTOM one great while it worked

...On buying my Tomtom one i was very excited and also a little disapointed with the size of the box, i purchased a TomTom one v4 europe with traffic updates. The set up was very simple no CD to mess about with and put in my "Man Draw" never to be seen again all the software for your pc is on the unit itself just plug the usb lead in and away you go. The new easy mount part is truly rubbish you click the unit into it and unless you get this right it will pop out, now bearing in ming you will be doing this on a windscreen of a car and if you have a car like mine a Ford Galaxy the windscreen is a mile away and proved fiddley to mount correctly also the USB leas from the charger just doesnt want to go in the hole so you have to take it off again and plug it in then try and snap the unit back into its mount fine on a nice cool day but not...
