Put shortly no! Ryder is second billed in this comedy, but the actress appears for only about ten minutes of the movie, with eight of the ten minutes spent at the movies closing scenes. Review of Sex And Death 101 (DVD)

Christian Slater and Winona Ryder at their best.

Advantages: Powerful, amusing, well acted and gripping.
Disadvantages: The 80's fashion unfortunately time-stamps the film.

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Honey Ryder meets the Cannibals

Advantages: Great film, acting, story etc.
Disadvantages: This is the censored version

They travel through the jungle on foot encountering snakes and poisonous spiders then by river they meet crocodiles and go over rapids and waterfalls and at one point have to climb up a waterfall (I've always wondered how they do scenes like this without getting water on the camera lens.) The directing and the acting were all great. Ursula Andress played Honey Ryder in Dr. No for those who don't know and although a fair bit older she still doesn't look to bad in this film. Stacy Keach played Edward and his been in a fair few things since. American History X is all I can think of. It was all shot in jungle in Sri Lanka and all the effects were rather realistic except for a certain crocodile but it wasn't too bad. The cannibals were all very authentic as well. The film is in English not Italian also, so you don't have to deal with bad...

Come On Feel This, I'm Still Alive

Advantages: Another excellent album with big beats and offereing something new and fresh
Disadvantages: It will take time to get into it

...first listen and while a lot of the album took a bit of time to get into, I found an instant connection with "Underdog", "Vlad The Impaler" and the album's first single "Fire". It's in tracks like "West Ryder Silver Bullet" and "Happiness" that the more experimental side of the album really comes out. In particular now I've found that I prefer a couple of these, slightly different tracks to the more traditional Kasabian tracks. In fact "West Ryder Silver Bullet" has a very hypnotic sound to it that seems to really make it appeal. It's a far more complex track and with a combination of effective vocals and haunting guitar riffs it works incredibly well. Overall I think it's fair to say that this is another solid release from the Leicestershire boys. I'll admit that whilst it wasn't the instant hit the first 2 albums had been there is...

A few Great Songs Save an Otherwise Bad Album

Advantages: A Few Really Good Tracks, Great Ending, Great Opening, Good Sounds With Each track Mixed Well
Disadvantages: Poor Tracks In Middle Of Album, Some Shoddy Vocals In Some Songs, Some Songs A Little Dated

...kasabian return with their long titled new album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, but with 2006's Empire being a tough act to follow, Kasabian had a lot to follow from. The album is much more grungy and dance based than Empire and is filled with some great songs. Most which have also been enspired by cowboy western vibes. Underdog - The album starts off with a bang as the the waves of bease fururisticly beat and then comes in the great grungy guitar riff that is not only catchy by so cool sounding and it will get stuck in your head. The song as a whole is very good and the guitar is the best part, it never really changes and is the guitar most of the way through with only slight changes, but that is forgivable as the guitar is awesome and this is one of the stand out songs of the album. 9/10 Where Did All The Love Go? - This...

Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s.
