The look is not that good. The design is too rigid and does not match with my new modern-look monitor. Great Multimedia Wireless Router from Belkin

Advantages: Reliable, Fast, Easy to configure, Lots of features, USB for sharing drives
Disadvantages: Bit expensive, Not full speed with every machine

...INTRO The Belkin N+ router is one of the higher end (consumer) wireless modem router offerings from Belkin. It cost me £85 from PC World, but can probably be found for a bit less if you shop online. The Cable version costs a little less. Reason I bought this one was because two PCs in the house with wireless cards kept losing the wireless connection when I was using a Linksys router (my own PCs / laptops were fine though!). I replaced that with a second hand Belkin, which worked fine but unfortunately, a power cut killed the wireless on it. Buffalo WBMR-G54 wireless router - a real buffalo?

Advantages: Reasonable price, easy to use, lots of advanced settings
Disadvantages: installation firewall issue, signal strengh only reasonable

...I bought this router from a local Argos shop at an emergency situation i.e. I want it now and therefore not at the best price - 49.99. Reason: My all singing and all dancing Dynamode R-ADSL-C4W-EG - wireless router had lost its main function, 'internet connectivity' after a month or so of continuous use (see my other review, now updated, for details). All is left is wireless communication i.e. useless. The return of this router back to Amazon caused me a week (lots of emails + recorded delivery + check that the refund includes the recorded delivery etc) For Argos, there is an obvious advantage - if there is something wrong with it, I just take it back for a refund/replacement on the same day.
