Microsoft wireless mouse & keyboard

Advantages: looks smart, easy to install & use, responsive
Disadvantages: batteries wear out quickly

...I purchased this wireless mouse and keyboard set when I got a new computer as I thought it would look smarter and more modern than the wire mouse and keyboard that came with it. I chose this set as I felt that Microsoft had a good reputation and, at £30, this represented good value for money. This was easy to connect up with the computer, just a simple plug in to the front of the box. That was all that was required to install. The mouse and keyboard each take two batteries. I find that the batteries wear down really quickly. This is frustrating, especially when typing where letters can be missed out in your work, or quite often, the space bar won't function. The batteries in the mouse wear out especially quickly. Having said that, this is the only flaw I can find with the product. The keyboard is comfortable to type...

Labtech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse review

Advantages: Wireless
Disadvantages: Power Use

...Well just got my new The Labtec Ultra-Flat Wireless Keyboard and mouse for a good price from my local Morrison's. So, what do I think of it so far? Well to be honest I am presently typing this on my old hard wired keyboard and mouse, the reason? Is that after just two days of moderate use the batteries have gone flat in the mouse and has become unusable! My last keyboard of this type had the same problem and I thought it was just a problem with the manufacturer that I chose but I now think it is a design fault in the way wireless keyboards are built and sold. I think the problem is with the way they use the laser in the mouse and this drains too much power thus flattening the batteries very soon with use. This is not good, and not only is it very expensive to use as they need the best types of power cells just to work at all...

Great Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combination

Advantages: Feels Really Comfortable, Good Battery Life, Mouse is Really responsive
Disadvantages: Haven't Found Any Yet!

...Trust XpertTouch Wireless DS-3200 - keyboard & Mouse Review: I purchased my trust keyboard and mouse about 6 weeks ago now from PC World and was at first a bit apprehensive as this was hthe first thing i had bought from there for a long time due to thier total lack of organisation and knowledgde about the particular products i have previously purchased but was told by my brother that they were being sold for just £15 and were pretty good so i bit the bullet and goit one anyway afterall it was only £15 so didn't really matter too much if it did turn out to be useless! However i bought it home plugged it in put in the disk and it installed itself.... it worked! (Possibly the only thing i have brought fom there that does!) After using this for a few weeks i am actually quite happy with it the range is pretty good and i can...

Genius Wireless USB Keyboard and Optical Mouse

Advantages: Wireless, Relativly cheap, Durable, Initially get rechargeable batteries
Disadvantages: Need to eventually buy new batteries, Problems with low power.

...essential in all modern mice. It has an optical laser so can be used on any surface. Both the keyboard and the mouse are wireless and their signal is picked up by a smart receiver come battery charger. The feature of being wireless is great for people who use spaces for multiple purposes such as a written work/study area as well as for using a PC. It plugs into a standard USB A slot. The box comes with 6 rechargeable AA batteries, user manual and a driver CD. The rechargeable batteries are a great addition to the pack however I found after a few months of use they did not hold the charge as well and did not last. This means eventually you will be using regular batteries which is obviously more expensive than using wired keyboard and mouse equivalents. When the battery power in either the mouse or keyboard gets low it can lead to...

Belkin Wireless Keyboard & Mouse

Advantages: Cheap & Easy to install
Disadvantages: Small Keyboard Buffer

...I bought this product about 3 months ago from Staples. It cost me around £20.00 when on offer. I though it was cheap, so I though I would try it. I connected the receiver to my desktop PC, put the batteries into the keyboard and mouse, and connected them. Windows XP installed the hardware automatically, and I started using it. The receiver is incredibly small, and looks quite good. The mouse and keyboard are in a uniform colour, so look good when used together. The keyboard allows me to control the volume of the PC from the keyboard, which can be useful. Also it allows me to control My Documents, My Music, My Pictures, Email and the standby mode. It also allows me to control the video player when watching a film, which is very useful. The 9 buttons (Home, End, Insert, Page Up, Page Down, Delete, Print Screen, Scroll Lock...

Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Advantages: Wireless
Disadvantages: Sometimes doesn't work

...I love these things! My keyboard and mouse are awesome for me. I sometimes get cold, and my laptop is by my bed, so instead of getting up and being cold, I get under the covers and just take the keyboard and put it on top. It is very, very, very convenient.. And my mouse pad it kind of slippery, so the mouse slides off sometimes, but there still aren't any scratches or other damages done to it yet. It's amazing. And, if you're super lazy, (no offense anyone) there is a mouse on the keyboard. You can just change the settings in the Control Panel. The mouse uses arrows. You will see blue one on the number pad wen you get this product. Notice I said WHEN you get this product, not IF you get this product. If you have the money, you're getting it. Now. Get out of bed, go to the store, and buy one. And you can't do it online from bed because...

Review of Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 100 - keyboard , mouse

Too Cheap wireless keyboard and mouse.

Advantages: Nice design, good range, cheap.
Disadvantages: Uses alot of battery power, not optical

...months before it became too annoying having to fully clean it atleast every 3 days and having to replace batteries atleast once every 3 weeks! I then replaced the mouse with a WIRED optical mouse even though this meant more wires on the desk. This was my first wireless kb and mouse so i didnt know if this was normal but i have now replaced the keyboard and my wired mouse with a logitech wireless bundle and the batteries have not been replaced since i bought the new bundle (over 2 months ago) so I am left to think that this Belkin bundle is perhaps TOO CHEAP to offer good value for money. Overall, I think the keyboard is very good but is let down very much by the poor quality mouse, I would not recommend purchasing this bundle, especially since you can now get a decent quality optical bundle for a couple of quid more....

Logitech wireless Mouse M305 - a great replacement for a dud

Advantages: wireless with more freedom, responsive, comfortable.
Disadvantages: more expensive than a wired mouse.

...In November 2009 I bought a Logitech M305 wireless mouse, which cost £19.99 at Currys. General information Logitech was founded in 1981 in Switzerland and is a world leader in mice. The M305 wireless mouse is designed for use with laptops and is very comfortable in the hand. It looks the same as the picture you can see on ciao website i.e. grey colour with black feature. However if you visit Logitech?s website you can see it?s available in 7 colours. I would describe the size as standard for a laptop mouse. It has a two-button design with a single scroll wheel in-between. However the palm rest is a little taller and more arched than most mice on the market. The package is the size of a small book and easy to open. It contains a wireless mouse, a nano-receiver, an AA battery and a quick start guide. How to start using it...

Review of Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 - mouse

Belkin Wireless keyboard and mouse

Advantages: its wireless....good feel
Disadvantages: no "back" button on the mouse

...My previous experience with wireless, devices was somewhat dampened buy the purchase of a logitech wireless mouse. To be fair though, this expeirence was most probably in part due to the carelessness of its user ( me), as it didnt seem to work after it had been dropped a few times, this is because you sometimes are expecting the mouse to have a wire so let it drop when infact , it is as it says wireless... So since the orignal purchase i had stayed clear of wireless devices for a year or so, only to be drawn back with the price level of this package, I thought the time had come to try it again. At around thirty pounds, it is great value, compared to a year or so ago, you can get a keyboard and a mouse for the same cost as just the mouse alone. Set up was very easy, simplying plugging into the relevent mouse and keyboard ports...

A great wireless mouse

Advantages: Scrolls up down left and right, side buttons
Disadvantages: You can accidentally press the side buttons

...I really like this mouse, although it feels quite large if your going from a laptop mouse to this. I love the side buttons, they are great for going back a page on the internet and its something I have found very helpful even though it can be pressed accidentally. The right hand side button magnifys the pages in a some square I fins this useful when I'm lying ing bed watching a DVD as it means I can skip forward a chapter much easier as I can see clearer, although again it can be pressed accidentally. The scroll wheel is good, although sometimes it does scoll to far (but that may be my settings, I don't know). Also with this scroll wheel the user is able to scroll from left to right, this is useful if the user is using Exel or a spreadsheet program to move from left to right, other than that I rarely use it unless a website has...
