Microsoft wireless mouse & keyboard

...I purchased this wireless mouse and keyboard set when I got a new computer as I thought it would look smarter and more modern than the wire mouse and keyboard that came with it. I chose this set as I felt that Microsoft had a good reputation and, at £30, this represented good value for money. This was easy to connect up with the computer, just a simple plug in to the front of the box. That was all that was required to install. The mouse and keyboard each take two batteries. I find that the batteries wear down really quickly. This is frustrating, especially when typing where letters can be missed out in your work, or quite often, the space bar won't function. The batteries in the mouse wear out especially quickly. Having said that, this is the only flaw I can find with the product. The keyboard is comfortable to type...

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard

Advantages: Great Keyboard, For casual and excessive users.
Disadvantages: Took a while to beable to use it.

I installed the software that came with the Keyboard on a CD-ROM. And it worked for a while, but then on the same day I installed the new Logitech Mouse that I had bought at the same time, and I couldn't get both to work at the same time as each other, and I decided that it must be because the software was working against each other and blocking each other from working. ...Well just got my new The Labtec Ultra-Flat Wireless Keyboard and mouse for a good price from my local Morrison's. So, what do I think of it so far? Well to be honest I am presently typing this on my old hard wired keyboard and mouse, the reason? Is that after just two days of moderate use the batteries have gone flat in the mouse and has become unusable! My last keyboard of this type had the same problem and I thought it was just a problem with the manufacturer that I chose but I now think it is a design fault in the way wireless keyboards are built and sold. I think the problem is with the way they use the laser in the mouse and this drains too much power thus flattening the batteries very soon with use. This is not good, and not only is it very expensive to use as they need the best types of power cells just to work at all...

Advantages: Media Keys, Well balanced, Easy to set up, Cheap, Easy to Clean

...So,my old keyboard broke to the extent it seemed to short circuit the motherboard socket ( when it was plugged in it would reboot the pc, and also half the keys were set up wrong, eg caps lock would mute it etc) so i popped down to my local Argos to pick up a Keyboard. The Media keys work from within programs, so say your playinga quiet game, such as minesweeper and you want to music, you just load up the music with the music key then press play etc along the top of the keyboard. Belkin Wireless Keyboard

...A good all round keyboard, with a nice metal body which adds strength and makes the keyboard feel that it is quality and not cheap. It took two installations onto my PDA (RX3715) before it started to work, don't know why. The first few times of aligning the keyboard to the PDA takes time but after some practice you will line it up without even thinking about it. The stand is not metal like the keyboard and it is not very good. It does not have any grip so when you try and tap the screen it keeps sliding along the surface (annoying during a lesson!!). the battery also lasts a long time, I have not yet had to change it (1 X AAA). There is only one complaint that I have with this keyboard and that is the hinge, it is weak. After four months of everyday use it broke and it is very hard to use with just a ribon holding the two pieces...
