Advantages: Quality, very large drum capacity, load sensing for water saving.
Disadvantages: Touch sensitive buttons can trigger if you brush past them.

...a Bosch machine which is identical to the Seimens other than some buttons. I primarily got the Siemens because of the £525 cost (pricematched by John Lewis to Comet) and 5 year parts /labour warranty. This equates to just over £100 per year and I seriously doubt it will conk out after 5 years either. There is a model with 1600 spin WM16s383 but don't think it justifies the higher cost for 200 extra rpm. Also its more wear and tear on the bearings....

Advantages: Very Quiet in use, Direct Drive, no belts to play up!
Disadvantages: Slightly slow in completing it's cycle

...example! If this machine has a fault, this would be that it's slow progressing through it's cycle. This is due to it's efficiency characteristics, but it may be annoying, if you are saving several loads of washing for the same day and the pressure is on to get them washed. When it comes to spin, the machine will stop, if the load is badly distributed, rather than shaking itself to pieces.But this means you need to keep a periodic check on it, if you want your washing back! If all is well, when the machine finishes it's cycle, it plays a sweet little chime to say " I'm Free! " The one aspect most people will like about the WM12225FD is the simplicity of the machine to use and the easy-to-read instructions. Advantages: good pay, pension scheme, staff discount, training

The training at Morrison's is excellent, very good quality with plenty of follow up. I started work in a Morrison's store in February this year and in response to Gemimz69's comment about the induction... mine took place over 2 days!!! From 9 till 5 on Saturday and 9 till 4 on the Sunday; I had an hour break in total for each day... and I have to say it was quite hefty for just an induction; what with all the video's and questionnaires and role play's etc; but it gives a great overview of the company. I feel Fazel may have exaggerated a little with the chip and pin situation and I work on checkouts myself and I really can't see such things happening...

Just what Wishy-Washy needed

...When our washer/dryer decided that it wasn't going to dry anymore it wasn't that much of a problem, but when it decided not to wash as well, it was time to find a replacement. Now in our house even an expensive washing machine doesn't last very long, so we decided to go for a cheaper make, that was still as high a specification as possible. So after looking on various websites we chose the Beko WM1512, which comes in two colours, white and a very nice silver. As most of our other appliances are silver, and it doesn't seem to get grubby as quickly as white, we went for the silver. ~~~Delivery and Installation~~~ We had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery, not very convenient in a housefull of children with clothes that need to be washed but there you go. ...which had loads of programs. I ended up buying the Beko WM6152, an innocuous-looking compact white machine with excellent energy credentials and at a mere £219.95. It has a 6 kg drum and a 1500 spin speed. It even had a time delay function whereby you can set the machine 3, 6 or 9 hours in advance as well as a time-save feature to shorten the program running times. The filter was easily accessible as it is at the front of the machine. Super! I thought I'd got myself a bargain. Little did I know ?Cue ominous music and crack of Hammer-horror lightening! I noticed that the machine already contained water but apparently this is because they are tested before they are sold. A kind friend plumbed the machine in for me.
