...Introduction After the relative failure of Belgian singer Lara Fabian's English debut CD in 2000, she returned to the Francophone market, releasing the album "Nue", which yielded a couple of big hits in France in "J'y Crois Encore" and "Tu es mon autre", a duet with Mauranne. In 2004 however she released another English language album on Sony, entitled "A Wonderful Life". Like her eponymous English language debut this also suffers from a lack of cohesion due to multiple producers, but this isn't quite as obvious on this release. The album doesn't have a real killer track the way her debut had but is actually, in my opinion, anyway, a better album which shows Fabian's vocal talents off far more than her debut. What is lacking, however, is the enthusiasm one picked up on in Fabian's 2000 album. She was clearly disillusioned...

A Puzzling Wonder!

Advantages: Good quality puzzles, clear pictures, varying difficulties

Review of Ravensburger Wonder Pets 4 in a Box Jigsaw Puzzle

Wonder-ful!

Advantages: Fun story, familiar characters
Disadvantages: Changed slightly from the TV episode

...The Wonder Pets are the current bane of my existence. Their annoying 10 minute long bouts of singing at least 3 times a day on my television literally do my head in, but for some reason my 3 year old adores them. And I mean big-style. He's got books, puzzles and even cuddly Ming-Ming and Linny toys to take to bed with him. For some reason unknown to myself, I decided it would be a good idea to get him a few Wonder Pets books as well, as if nearly an hour of the stuff wasn't enough, we could then have it at bedtime too... oh the JOY! As it turns out, he adores the book so it's worth it but it does mean I have to sing... The Wonder Pets are the latest American phenomenon to cross the pond over to the UK and seem to be steadily rising popularity amongst toddlers across the land. Wonder pets, Wonder pets, we're on our way!

Advantages: Full of lessons, imagination and fun

...It's a Wonderful Life is a truly magical Christmas film, a beautiful classic that is really traditional and perfect for all the family. There are no bad words, rude jokes etc like most of today's Christmas films, just pure, and simple with a great message. It's a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American film shot in black and white. It features arguably one of the greatest actors ever, James (Jimmy) Stewart in the lead role of George Bailey. It's Christmas Eve and George Bailey is feeling sorry for himself, worse than that actually, he is contemplating suicide. He has a loving wife and kids but is not really pleased at how his life has turned out. Wonderful film

Advantages: The sharp script and lead performance from Micheal Douglas, well supported by a fine cast.
Disadvantages: This won't appeal to some and can drag in a few places.

...Wonder Boys is a truly enjoyable movie, combining a fine lead performance from Michael Douglas in a meandering, richly comic story that leaves you feeling generally better about life than when you started watching it. It's a wonderful film!

...Last night, my husband and I sat down with a nice glass of wine and an Indian takeaway, all set to indulge in watching one of our all time favourite films - 'It's a Wonderful Life!' This is not one of those fast moving, glossy, sleek, Hollywood Blockbusters that constantly fill our screens at the moment. No, this is a black nd white film made in 1946 which moves at a gentle pace but is one of the most uplifting films I have ever watched! And what's more - there's no sex, violence or swearing - just a good old fashioned story about an ordinary man!
