My World Cup Dream Team!

...England were the only home nation to represent Britain in the last two World Cups, 1978 and Scotland the last time that happened. Wales, N.Ireland and Scotland have less and less chance of ever qualifying again as fewer and fewer of their lads play in the top leagues, England heading the same way if they don't act fast to reduce the number of foreign players (and managers who prefer those players) in the premiership. I'm not taking about dumping the Torres's and Drogba's but the lesser foreign names that are equal to our English lads and so denying domestic first team starts in the premiership. This is not the only reason Scotland wont qualify for the next ten World Cups but it's the biggest, a cheap Ghanaian wingback now preferred over a brave young Scottish defender in the SPL. The Pool world cup

Advantages: Good range of players and game play

...Do you enjoy pool or snooker games? Well this game will actually be of use to many people then. The Game This game is about you and playing pool as you might have guessed in the title of the product. The game requires you set up an account on their using a name or alias and then you choose which country you?re from and there is a big collection there to choose from. You begin by either choosing a tournament or a one on one match. If you choose a tournament you are thrown into a tournament to win a trophy and you get to play against various top opponents in the pool world like Ronnie O?Sullivan and others. You get no sort of instructions of how to play or the rules behind pool so that could be a problem for people. You have an option of 8 or 9 ball pool so you pick which ever suits you the best. Review of World Cup of Pool (Nintendo DS)

Tracie's going to the World Cup!

Advantages: Entertaining at times. A nice light read.
Disadvantages: Tracie can be irritating sometimes, especially if you try to take her seriously.

...I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series, The WAG's Diary, and was quite excited to see this book pop up in my recommendations on Amazon. I've not read the book in between (A WAG Abroad) so I was hoping that I'd be able to follow the plotline here without being at a disadvantage. From the blurb on the back, it seemed that this would be the case, as you can tell from the title that it's predominantly going to be set around the World Cup backdrop. THE PLOT The plot is very thin on the ground - don't say I didn't warn you! Tracie's husband, Dean, has been given a rather obscure-sounding position on the defending side of the England team, so he's going to be off to South Africa with the players and staff. Needless to say, uber-WAG Tracie is ridiculously excited with this turn of events, not least because she pictures herself...
