GPZ500s - real world review

Advantages: fast, light, cheap to insure and run
Disadvantages: lumpy at low revs, needs good tyres and regular servicing

...Right - a real world review. I have owned 3 of these bikes. I keep each one for 60,000 miles then trade it in against a new model. I ride this bike in all weathers (except snow and ice), doing a 60 mile commute to work every day. Some of the reviews on here make me laugh. For example: "Fuel consumption I found to be no more than an average car" Really? I'd like to see an average car getting 60mpg "just starting out consider something else, A Bandit, or CBR600" Start out riding on a bike weighing over 200kg or a 100bhp sports 600? This is a good way to end up having a nasty accident. "front forks are not nearly big enough, and the springs are weak, this can be partially compensated for by taking the tops of the forks and inserting spacers" This is a road bike - the suspension is a little on the soft side for soaking up bumps...

Mercedes S Class - The worlds best luxury car - FACT!

Advantages: Fully loaded luxury motor leaving passengers and drivers wanting for nothing.
Disadvantages: Can be expensive if it goes wrong if you can't find the best repairshop. Initial outlay cost.

...Most readers will probably look at this review and overlook it; the common misconception is that the flagship Mercedes-Benz S Class is a luxury that many cannot afford. WRONG ? You can pick them up for as little as £5000, considering they retail for over £60k at new, this is fantastic. But why should you choose the S over any other car? Slimming world

Advantages: Excellent choice in food
Disadvantages: £4.50 per week and a £10 joining fee

...I have been a memeber of slimming world since september 2007 and i am still attending every wee which for me is an achievement in itself. Slimming world is a slimming club that you pay a weekely fee to attend this fee is £4.50 which can become quite expensive but they do offer count down packages where you pay for your weeks in advance and can get weeks for free. For me i joined slimming world after I gained lots of weight after having my son and also through a diet of mainly high fat, high sugar foods which i am now not ashamed to admit. Life for us was pretty much one big takeaway so in september I decided that I needed to do something about it so off i went to my local group in Barry. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered. The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too.
