Advantages: A Good Insight into the Survivors Battle
Disadvantages: Very sad if you only focus on the event and not the rescue mission

...World Trade Centre, as it says on the DVD cover, is definitely a true story of courage and survival. I saw this in my local Asda and thought it would be interesting to watch. It did not disappoint me. THE FILM The film is based on the tragic events of the September 11th disaster in America where the World Trade Centres were flown into by 2 planes and ultimately collapsed. The start of the film shows a police team heading into the first tower to help with the evacuation of the workers who were trapped at the top. As they are getting supplies the first tower starts to collapse and they try to dive into an elevator shaft for safety. The team is trapped and only one of them is able to move and as he starts to try to free the others the rest of the tower falls down and he then is also trapped. He is hurt so badly that he shoots himself...

The fall of the world trade centres

Advantages: It leaves out the graphic attacks
Disadvantages: The story is drawn out

...Its not surprising that one of the most catastrophic events in American History would eventually make it on to the big screen. What is surprising is that it has happened only 5 years after the attacks. World Trade Centre is just one of the films that attempts to recreate the events of September 11th, 2001. As the New York police get set for another day on the beat, the news comes through that a plane has crashed into one of the twin towers. This follows two of the surviving officers who are trapped between the rubble and reminisce about their family's and their lives off the job. As time starts to run out, and they are trapped hundreds of feet beneath the fallen buildings, its up to the rescue team of New York to get them out alive. This is a story that is recognisable to the millions round the world who were left shocked...

World Brave Centre

Advantages: Moving, shows the good of humans, well acted
Disadvantages: Obviously upsetting in parts.

...I'm not a fan of movies based on real life events, as I find them a little too uncomfortable to watch, I prefer to watch something a bit more escapist and funny! But when my brother bought the World Trade Centre DVD when we were out shopping last week, I decided it would be worth a watch, and so I settled down last week to watch World Trade Centre, based on the events of 9/11 in 2001. The film follows the officers of New York City who work in the Port Authority region. When they hear of the first plane hitting the North Tower of the World Trade Centre, they are dispatched to downtown New York to help with the rescue mission, and are led by Officer John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage). McLoughlin can't order his brigade into the towers as it is a dangerous mission, instead 3 of the men volunteer to accompany him into the tower. Officers...

Baby, it's a wild world

Advantages: Can be cheap, convenient, mildly interesting.
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit boring.

...OK, so I cheated with the title. The World Trade Center (sic - sorry I made a British typo when I asked Melanie to add this one) isn't wild but it is wide, and long, and ... quite high too. At the top of Ploenchit Road, it's just out of the Sukhumvit area and is very easy to get to. The Sky Train is the easiest way, or you could get a bus, or even walk. If you're on drugs or it's your first time out of western Europe, you might consider taking a tuk-tuk. (More on Bangkok transport to come in another opinion.) Once you've got there, the first feeling is of being overwhelmed with the vastness of this shopping mall. However, when you scratch below the surface, I suspect that you'll find much less of interest here than your initial expectation. Advantages: great search facility on website. lots of choice.
Disadvantages: take someone with you who knows their cars.

I wouldn?t have believed it for a minute until I went and saw it for myself. I mean, 4000 cars on display in London? My husband has been there many a time?..so heres his story?. I first went to GTC back in 2000 when I was looking for a Fiesta and I can say that it was one very pleasant experience. I arrived at 12pm and was there til 5. BAY TRADING

Advantages: Great quality, styles and prices
Disadvantages: Too cramped store

...Well the answer to my title is quite simple, um.... cash for clothes and accessories and in this case DECENT, GOOD QUALITY Bay Trading items, sorry about the dodgy title but I couldn't really think of anything else! I've only really noticed Bay Trading in my local town centre recently, I've only just started shopping there too so her goes my opinion on the shop itself. The store itself is relatively small but have been in bigger branches, with racks down the sides of the small, thin, long store and 1 single rack all the way down the middle of the store, things can get a little cramped. When loads of people are in the tiny store all at once, things can get a litte out of hand. Luckily the store uses the floor above it too for the changing rooms. The changing rooms are great with a big communal area and then 2 smaller changing rooms...

Disadvantages: Businessman hotel rather than tourist, not for families

...It's easy to assume that Dubai is all bunched up at the creek end of the typical Map that you get in the tourist guides; not so! Dubais attractions are spread far and wide from the famous Madinat Jumeriah to the old town district of Deira. The Novotel is central to everything! If you are a business traveller and need access to the world trade center/ exhibtion center then there is only one other hotel which is as close and that is the ibis. Novotel actually has direct access into the Exhibition centre next to hall 8. The rooms are on a par with the high end 4 stars that you will find in London and the service is impecable. Disadvantages: Some duplicate stores

...do want variety and options. Opticians ------------- They do have many opticians as well which is good I think because you can book an eye test whilst out shopping so I find that a great idea. They have boots, Specsavers, Vision Express and some more there also. They are never huge stores so they are just basically an eye testing centre with some frames to choose from, I think the vision express store is the biggest and offers the biggest choice of frames to choose from as well. Mobile Phones --------------------- Well without doubt one of the busiest parts they have in the entire centre is the mobile trading stores. You have got the big names of O2, Orange, Vodafone, T Mobile and many more of the other retailers who provide us contracts and phones.
