WORMS ARMAGEDDON, THE PINICLE....

Advantages: Massivly enjoyable gameplay
Disadvantages: Some may not get on with 2D graphics

The answer is that each new Worms title that get released just gets better and better, with the new release of WORMS: ARMAGEDDON, in my opinion being the best yet produced by the programming team responsible. ***AIM OF THE GAME*** Worms: Armageddon is all about strategy. The addictive gameplay keeps you thinking, as you need to plan what to do next, how to take out the opposing worms, what weapon you should use, and also minimising damage taken. Each player has an army of soldiers each taking alternate turns, with each team having a set amount of time to move and fire with their worms, which is usually about 50 seconds ( you can set it to anything you want in the options). Worms Armageddon

Advantages: The funniest game ever, completley addictive
Disadvantages: completley addictive, help.. I can't stop playing.

...I used to own worms 2, which is a mighty fine game. And when W:A was released it looked way to similar to warrant buying. It's true, there's not a lot of difference between them (maybe £5) but due to a freak accident where my screen filter fell off my monitor and shattered the worms 2 disc I decided to upgrade. It must have been a strange twist of fate... either way, I can't believe I hadn't bought it straight off, it really is the most addictive, funny, and entertaining game around. I don't actually play that many games on my PC but Worms: Armageddon is always my first choice, honestly. You should have seen the panic in my eyes when I lost my disk. (it was in another case) I'll cut it short now because I feel like playing a game... yeah, I'll go and play worms now. (do want to play?)...

Worms Armageddon

...Worms Armageddon is an upgrade of Worms 2, But is it really for the better? My answer is YES! For 1, the single player menu has increased and now there is a training session where you can practice with your worms and you learn hw to do things better. You can do basic training, super sheep where you practice flyig super sheep to get boxes to get more time, target practice, euthanasia and more. In the normal menu for more than 1 player, you can create teams as usual but the menu is better, you can change the flags, graves, anthem for when ypour team wins, and you can choose a special weapon. There is a lot from this menu to choose from. When you are in the game battling it out, there is a bigger selection of terrain styles and there are some new weapons eg Flame ThrougherAtomic bomb and a Lot more, there are aslo more types...

It was fairly old at the time but it cheap so I thought might as well give it ago. It looked good from the box, good pictures and good makers. It certainly had potential to be a great game. Got home and played it straight away. I was loving it. I went on the options and went on unlimited weapons and turned the cheat system on, so I could get a grip of the game. ...Worms has over 20 billion levels or so, lots of hilarious and original weapons, and can start off hours of squiggly madness. You can play against the computer, against lots of your friends or against someone over the net. The game is so easy to learn but it's not a doddle to kill the little blighters.
