Disadvantages: Cant realy swap stars on shows

.... Some people don't like this, but I think it sounds pretty good. Something I really enjoy is that the announcers actually talk during the match. And it is really Tazz's, Cole's voices speaking. I think that's a great feature for the game. Overall I'd have to say this game is a solid 9. There are some sweet new features but some nice old ones have been taken away. I'll start with the negative first, and then give you some positive. Negs: - Only 4 titles in season mode; no Tag titles - CAW mode is supposedly not as well built as before. - Royal Rumbles last too long. - Online Mode can be very laggy and supposedly is nothing good. - Can't swap super stars on shows. - Only one CAW in the season mode at a time. ...WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 PS2 I bought this for my son the other day. Well sort of true, I wanted it as much as he did. First thing I noticed was they have changed the controls from the previous versions. It uses a new "Analogue control system". It's not easy in the beginning but after a while you pick it up. There is an option at the beginning showing you all the new way to use the "Analogue control system". The moves are made by the sticks, the left is for moving the wrestler and the right is for grappling etc. A small tip if you're not happy with the new system if you go to the options for changing your setup and go to controller and choose "type d" it goes back to the old buttons as in WWE 2006 :). Advantages: Really Fun, Great Soundtrack, All the characters, Get To Create Your Own!

...of WWE. I have to admit having two brothers and having a boy orientated family has not helped, and we regularly watch Smackdown and Raw on Monday and Friday nights anyway. We had already S.Vs.R 2007 and 2008 which were great fun so it seemed logical to buy the 2009 version. Unlike a lot of games, this is still being released on PS2 which is great as it is more common for new releases only to be released on PS3 and it is great for us people who haven't made enough Ciao money to buy a PS3 or an Xbox 360. ...Being a fan of wrestling on the TV Being a gamer I thought I'd purchase a wrestling game to play when WWE isn't on. I'd played a WWE wrestling game before and wasn't very impressed thankfully WWE is a good game and helps pass the hours maybe a bit to quickly !! Having played the Smackdown series before I knew what to expect of it and I was actually very impressed, there are all the original modes and car park brawl in which you slam the opponent against cars though the damage models are poor ( Def Jam: Fight For New York does this better ) the game was suprisingly fun and playable featuring 40 WWE wrestlers to wrestle with and the option of fighting clean or dirty which changes your reputation depending on which style you use. ...The graphics are amazing, the last wrestling game I played was Smackdown 2. But unfortunately for Smackdown Vs Raw, Smackdown 2 was much better! Let me explain: 1) Season mode is farr too easy and is finished very fast, if you restart season mode its basically the same story each time whatever superstar you use. 2) You cannot go backstage in matches! 3) theres less stuff you can do like its more difficult to put people through announcers tables 4) Backstage there is only 1 backstage place you can play thats the car park which is good but far too limited.
