...WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 PS2 I bought this for my son the other day. Well sort of true, I wanted it as much as he did. First thing I noticed was they have changed the controls from the previous versions. It uses a new "Analogue control system". It's not easy in the beginning but after a while you pick it up. There is an option at the beginning showing you all the new way to use the "Analogue control system". The moves are made by the sticks, the left is for moving the wrestler and the right is for grappling etc. A small tip if you're not happy with the new system if you go to the options for changing your setup and go to controller and choose "type d" it goes back to the old buttons as in WWE 2006 :). You choose a superstar say Big Show and then the WWE brand you want to represent either Raw or Smackdown! Say if you choose Smackdown! then in the draft you get to choose Vince McMahon's ten draft choices. If you go with Raw you make Ric Flair's ten draft choices. Disadvantages: A little too easy in some parts, enjoyable for a few weeks - 1 1/2 months then gets a little boring.

...WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on the Wii is a disappointment, to say the least. I myself am a WWE fan, but this game does not exactly fill me with excitement. Firstly, there are only 5 match types, while the PS3 and Xbox etc. get many more including Hell in a Cell and Ironman. Also, the lack of weapons is appalling. Take the Hardcore matches, for example. WWE has plenty of weapons, such as tables, ladders etc., and THQ only puts steel chairs in the Wii version. Disgraceful. On a more positive note, the controls are brilliant, swinging the Wii remote to perform moves on your opponent,though they do get a little frustrating at times. The commentary, however, is a little repetetive, with certain phrases being repeated 2-3 times during matches.The taunts are good, but do get boring after a while.
