...We went to West Yorkshire Playhouse yesterday afternoon to see a matinee performance of Bad Girls, the Musical. We had a fantastic time. The play was absolutely first class- so if you get chance to go and you know anything at all about bad girls, you will be in heaven!
I had ordered my tickets via an online ticket provider and they came within a couple of days-just what I had ordered and no fuss at all. We got two of the best seats in the house for 15 pounds each.
The good thing about the WY playhouse is that the prices are very good for excellent productions, compared to London theatres, anyway!

Review of Newcastle Brown Ale
Advantages: Characters more developed, colour Disadvantages: Sequals are never as good as the originals, although I suppose more would be allowed in this as society became more liberal since the first series was shot
Advantages: Great if you're a fan of Big Brother Disadvantages: Rubbish if you hate Big Brother
......so this show is pretty much made of time filling with random ramblings from the rather oddly matched presenters.
The show is live from a studio, within the Big Brother House 'arena'. On Sunday's there is an extended show, featuring whichever housemate had been evicted the previous Friday. As well as banter, there are usually phone-ins, competitions, polls, all sort of randomness. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the show, as I find it quite repetitive and tedious, however it is good for background noise if you want the telly on. If you are looking for inciteful and stimulating discussions, this show probably isn't for you. If you like random fluff and don't need much to keep you occupied, give it a go!

Back in October of 2008 we decided to upgrade our TV service in the bedroom to Virgin Media's V+. One of the benefits of this service was the fact that the V+ box would give us access to any high definitions channels Virgin might broadcast in the future (currently only BBC HD). As our old CRT portable was looking dated and wouldnt give us any HD content, we decided to upgrade to a flat screen TV. Surprisingly, wy wife took the lead with this purchase and after reading a few reviews, decided on the Bush from Argos as it was on special offer with £25 off the normal asking price.
Installation
Installation of the TV was quick and simple. In the box was the TV itself, the base which quickly attatched to the TV, the remote control complete with batteries, and intruction manual and the power lead.

Advantages: Well its Kylie isnt it? Need I say more? Disadvantages: She's missed some pop gems - so not really "Ultimate"
...really love, its edgy almost electro pop with gravel like vocals from miss minogue and is a stand out track and is 'Ultimate Kylie'.
The only issue I have with this album is the lack of certain songs! Some classics like 'Word Is Out', 'Finer Feelings', 'What Kind Of Fool' and 'Where Is The Feeling' are missing. As are the random 'GBI' indie 'Some Kind Of Bliss' and vomit worthy 'If You Were With Me Now'. Yet some of her duds 'Chocolate' (never should have been a single) and 'Please Stay' (please shush) and 'Celebration' are firmly there! Seems odd.
And wy not add a few extra's? 'Your Disco Needs You' is ULTIMATE Kylie and should have been an extra track as maybe should her cover of 'Physical'. But we cant complain - its Kylie shes fab and so is this album!...
Advantages: The furniture is trendy modern and stylish. Disadvantages: The way that ikea work is that you collect your own furniture so there is no delivery service.
.... They have garden wares and cooking utensils. And depending which month that you go there you are able to get cerain offers that are on each month.
The furniture is funky and stylish and the price range can accomodate every one.
For example you can get cushions for your living room at £3 and chopping boards for £1.50 these are a few of the bargins i picked up on my wy around.
I was dissapointed though because on seeing the catalouge i had already selected the items that i wanted to purchase when i got there so i had limited funds with me and once in the store i found that there is a lot more stock than in the catalouge.
Its prob not a good idea to take your credit card there thats all i can say! The way that ikea works is that you get a trolley and go round like a warehouse and select your own furniture which is all flat packed...

...card fold-out digipak (much like Nine Inch Nails? The Fragile). On Amazon.co.uk it?s listed both as a CD with bonus DVD (£9.99) and a DVD (still with CD) at £16.99! As far as I know (and I?m pretty certain) they?re exactly the same package?
The CD
The CD itself draws twelve tracks from the Summer Sanatorium shows in Houston and Dallas (with Mudvayne, Deftones, Limp Bizkit and Metallica), and covering both albums pretty well (plus ?P5hng Me A*wy? - a mellowed out version of the original that does sound both different and good). Obviously the sound isn?t as polished as their studio albums, but it doesn?t suffer too much as they?ve still used pro-tools to polish up the rough edges. Despite that though, it still sounds a little flat. ?Crawling? in particular was never my favourite song, but here drawing towards the end of the set it still...
Advantages: Quality of prints - both B& W and colour, service. Basic services are pretty reasonably priced. Disadvantages: Not the cheapest option
...Joe's Basement is a professional photographic processor/printer with a handful of outlets in central London. They are really worth considering if you are in any wy dissatisfied with the run-of-the-mill processors.
Upon the recommendation of a friend (who takes photos for a living), I took a print film to Joe's Basement in London's Soho (Wardour St.). That was about a year ago and I've never looked back. Even my wfe insists on her films (from a compact camera) going there as she easily appreciates the quality.
Print quality is truly superb. Colours are dense and vibrant. Contrast is really good. You haven't seen anything until you've seen your photos done with this quality. Most starkly you'll see the difference with black and white prints. I've struggled for years to find someone who would print decent b & w and not charge...
