Cheap as chips for a bit of bass!

...I bought these speakers on impulse; I saw them, wanted them, bought them! £24.00 from Tesco. Simple =) Once I got home, other bits that I bought were put away, then I was straight to the computer, box ripped open and the speakers out. I had left my computer running before my journey, so the music was already on. I quickly ripped my old set of stereo speakers out, and plugged these in! Compared to the previous speakers, £24 was a fantastic investment! BT voyager 210 broadband modem

Advantages: Easy to install
Disadvantages: Beware: Won't last much longer than 12 months

...I got this BT voyager 210 router from MADASAFISH when I subscribed to their broadband service back in 2006 as a 'free' router (you have paid them back + admin charges if you switch or unsubscribe before the 12 months contract is due). It comes as shown in the picture in the box, quite generours: one wired router, TWO ADSL microfilters, one AC adaptor, one ADSL telco cable, 1 USB cable, 1 Ethernet cable, one CD-ROM (with installation guide, user manual, driver and utilties), one small piece of quick installation guide. This modem supports ADSL2 as well however I haven't got ADSL2 i.e. not tested. The basic installation is quite easy: connection the modem to the phone socket according to instructions. At first i had a strange feeling that rear sats are a bit quiet, again, software calibration solves a problem. Subwoofer This is very suprising how pure bass can be heard from this class of device. Glasses shaking on the table and sound still is excellent.Bass is strong and dynamic, maybe a bit shallow, a little distorted and unpleasant when reaching max volume. It's much bigger than in x-210 2.1 model I had before and have more power. ...Logitech X-540 Surround Sound. I ordered ths off amazon for 49.99, it was sent by courier (Home Delivery Network Ltd) and arrived within 2 days of ordering. Very easy to set up and great price for full 5.1 surround sound. Took 10 mins to hook it up to my Xbox and is amazing while playing Gears of war :D... First thing you notice is the weight contained in the small box the Speakers come in,its about 1ft square and contains 1 Bass and 5 satellite speakers, each individually packed in plastic bags. The bass unit is quite bulky and for optimal quality should be placed on the floor, but if you dont have much room, (like me) then you can put it it behind your TV or something... ...Well my next review again is another film that was made during the 90's. Gosh they really don't make films like they use to. I must admit ive only seen this film twice once in high school and once with my friends, and both times the film just gives you a sense of shock. The film im going to review is the 1998, critically acclaimed "American History X", directed by Tony Kaye and Edward Norton and Edward Furlong. Ok two quick recaps here, Edward Furlong is the guy who was John Connor in Terminator 2, however just a wee bit more older in this film, but he still looks the same. We then have Edward Norton; you might recognise him from his earlier work in Primal Fear and The People vs. Larry Flynt I must admit this review will talk about some cruel and in some cases sadistic scenes, and for that I apologise if it causes any offence...
