Advantages: Easy to use, Aesthetically pleasing, User friendly Disadvantages: Not enough variation from vista, no desktop button
...Windows 7 Review
With the recent release of the new Microsoft operating system windows 7 many people believe windows vista will be forgotten about with its constant security alerts and lack of user options. The new operating system has many new features which I will run through now.
Firstly the new taskbar down at the bottom is a lot easier on the eye as it no longer has any text whatsoever, instead Microsoft have opted to use just the logo of the software the user currently has running. Another improvement to the taskbar is the ability to lock items to the task bar which is a replacement of the quick launch system in Vista, this simply means that you right click click on the logo of the software you want to lock and click ?pin to taskbar? this means that when the program isn?t open it still has an icon on the taskbar and can be...
Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it. Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS
...drivers which had worked on Vista 64 don't work now, but this should hopefully be resolved within the next month.
Ease of Use: 9/10
It is very easy to understand, though does take a little adjusting. Especially if you've just come from XP to use 7. Many of the features are hard to understand how they work. But you'd proberbly understand in no tie if your a fast learner.
How much better is it from XP or Vista: 4/10
Really, there isn't too much of a difference just a lot of extra features. The main fact people want ot have this OS is that it is super quick on loading anything.
Requirments to Run: 8/10
Any decent computer should be able to run Windows 7 though older PC's may struggle. Below are the list of requirements to run Windows 7:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 gigabyte (GB...
Advantages: Great new toolbar, excellent personalisation, overall brilliant design Disadvantages: Really similar to Vista.
...In July, I downloaded the Release Candidate of Windows 7 to evaluate the new operating system and I have to say it's the best version of Windows yet! It surpasses Vista in every way. Windows 7 is not available yet but I'm encouraging all Vista uers to upgrade in October as soon as the software is released. In the rest of my review I will outline some of the key features.
For starters, the toolbar has been changed dramatically. In previous versions of windows, the active windows (i.e. open programs and applications) would appear seperately as tabs with the symbols and titles of the programs (with the option to group similar windows together under one tab, such as all the internet explorers open). In Windows 7, the toolbar features the start button (the windows logo), followed by programs pinned to the taskbar and open programs, then...
Advantages: looks great, easy to use, nice new taskbar, high compatibility Disadvantages: cost is still high
...I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate. I had not minded Windows Vista as much as other people; my computer has a 2.13GHz dual core processor and 4GB of RAM. Windows 7 doesn't actually seem to be any faster, but it has some better features and is overall easier to use. It took about 2 hours to upgrade, which isn't bad but it's not amazingly fast. It runs all of my programs that ran under Vista no problem, and some of my hardware is actually now supported that wasn't supported in Vista. I haven't found anything that doesn't work after upgrading. I still recommend that you run the "Windows 7 upgrade advisor" first just to make sure. The new taskbar looks a bit different, but don't be worried, you'll get used to it, and once you do you'll find out that it's a big improvement. Programs no longer have text, just...
Advantages: smooth, quick, easy to install and use, pretty to look at, simplified for the masses Disadvantages: Vista should have been like this - Microsoft robbed us!
...Windows 7 makes Windows Vista feel like a beta. That?s my philosophy. It was my philosophy before I bought Windows 7 and it?s still my philosophy now. That?s where the ?it looks like Vista? comments come from. Windows 7 is Vista without all the rubbish. Everything people moaned about in vista is gone (or improved) and 7 is more spangly and all singing and dancing. It looks better, runs more smoothly and is simple to use. You might even say its been dumbed down for the masses. Simplified. It?s a pleasure to use. It loads more quickly than Vista and is aesthetically pleasing as it does so.
The first thing to note is the ease with which it installed. For those of us brave enough to install our own operating systems (and re-install every so often to keep it fresh), we all know the pain and misery that it can lead too, but I have to say...
Advantages: video camera, good quality colour screen Disadvantages: buttons are too small
...Sagem my x-7

Information between devices)

Camera has a shutter
Changeable facias

Advantages:
This phone has a high quality camera with a 4x digital zoom, and different modes. Normally with digital zoom the quality of the photo is not as good, but with this phone the photo quality doesn’t go down much. The phones polyphonic ringtones are okay, but you can also record sound and set the sound you recorded as your ringtone, the longest you can record a sound for is 1 minute. This phone also comes with video recording (you can record up to 1 minute). The phone is cheap for what it has £80 and the network is orange...

Review of Sagem MY X-7
...OK, the makers of this show must have read my reviews of the previous seasons, because this one is fantastic! The X Files is about the FBI?s involvement in investigating paranormal activity. However, don?t think Men in Black ? this isn?t a comedy. This is a serious show which falls into the bracket of sci-fi. It stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as the two agents looking for the truth.
This is a brilliant season and I will tell you why. From the start, Scully has been the sceptic, always missing the sightings that should win her over, well not any more. No, Scully finds an alien space-craft in this season, and then it?s all on! Not only that, Mulder finds out the truth about his sister! That storyline has been hanging around like a bad smell since season 1, and it?s great to finally get closure (which happens to be the name...
...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway.
The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price.
10.1 Megapixels
Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo...

Review of Panasonic Lumix FS7
Advantages: big screen, video and stills cam, hi fi ringtones Disadvantages: thick and ugly, teeny buttons
...I've owned an my x-7 for a good long while now, and if you want specs etc, then you'll have to look at another review. (ooh what terrible ettiquette) What I'm going to talk about is the general day to day living with the phone.
First off the big screen will always be a bonus on this phone, the cam you see, is not a super duper 2 mega pixel cam like todays mega phones, it is roughly 0.3 mega pixels. but does the job quite well, just as long as you hold the phone dead still. If the screen weren't so big, the cam shots would look awful when reviewed on the phone, same goes for the video in this sense.
On the subject of the video though, it is limited to roughly 30 seconds of recording per session, this is down to low ram and a funny zip system is uses to shrink the files to fit onto the puny memory. But as i'm sure you know...

Review of Sagem MY X-7
Advantages: Lovely to drive, looks great and reasonable fuel efficiency. Disadvantages: Hard to manoeuvre in the dark.
...safety rating and unlike the previous model the 4x4 is "on-demand". This has made it much more fuel efficient. The listed combined fuel consumption is 38.7, I use it for towing every few weeks and my average is about 35 so I think that is pretty good. During ordinary driving conditions it usually averages about 41 so I can't complain. I try not to use it for local trips, I either walk or we use our smaller car.
I find the car very easy to drive. Obviously it is quite big so it will not fit into every carparking space and watch the height barriers, I have never hit one yet but I always find myself ducking! It is very easy to manoeuvre and I can park it in most places as long as I go in backwards. The only problem I have is that it has privacy glass in the back and I find it hard to park at night as it is hard to see through when it is dark...
