...stone (unfortunately I'm a bit more of a porker than this!) the wheels tend to flex quite a bit if you put a bit of extra weight on them. I find this a problem when hill climbing - although living in Norfolk there aren't that many about which is a good thing! I have also had the wheels flex when going over pot holes. I know that you should always avoid these on a racer and 9 times out of 10 I do, but there are the odd occasions when they are unavoidable. Changing the wheels is not a difficult task and it is usually one of the first upgrades most cyclists make to their bike. Oh my goodness - A Trek Movie that I loved!!!!

Advantages: A brand new storyline with definite tributes to the original Trek
Disadvantages: Not enough Nero!!!

...Being married to a Star Trek fan isn't easy. In fact it's blooming hard!! I could swear sometimes I know more about it than he does and it's scary! So to find out there was a new Star Trek movie coming out brought a sigh of "not another one" from me and a lot of excitement from himself. And as soon as tickets were available to order from the cinema, I had to get them in advance for the first night of showings as he decided it just would not do to go on the second night. Synopsis The story follows James Kirk from the events of his birth and his yearly years, but mainly concentrates on his first voyage on the Starship Enterprise. It also follows the life of Spock and how he was an outcast both on Vulcan and Earth due to his mixed parentage. Spock as we all know also ends up on the Enterprise. Early in the film Kirk is accused of cheating on a test, and during the enquiry a distress call is received from Vulcan and Starfleet respond by sending off the fleet to investigate. Despite the fact Kirk is suspended he sneaks on the Enterprise as it heads off. The ship is being run by all new recruits apart from the captain, so it sets off later than the rest...

Taking the Trek Further and Further

Advantages: Great Price, Great Components, Super Reliability
Disadvantages: None whatsoever

...After 3yrs and 9000 miles of loyal service my original Trek 1500 road bike gave up the ghost after coming off second best with a battered old Nissan Micra!! I guess that proves that steel is stronger than Aluminium!! My insurance company were great and sorted me out with a replacement within 2 weeks. I was delighted to find that the actual replacement was going to be the new 2006 model which features several improvements from the bike that I had previously. The price of the bike is £1300 fully delivered and set up, but upgrades to components such as saddle / wheels and pedals can bring the cost up if you want. I booked a day off work to receive delivery of my bike, which arrived as planned and only required adjustment to the handlebars, seat-post and saddle.
