Presented by the lovely, if not slightly hyper, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, the new ?Wave? offered buyers a cleaning system that ?deeply removes dirt, oil and make up? to fight spots whilst making skin visibly softer after just one use. The advert did make me a little dubious though; its whole presentation with Hudgen?s cooing over a pink and white vibrating piece of plastic was questionable, not to mention the price tag...

Advantages: Super Amazement Factor of Sound, Solid Unit, Small, Loud, Clear Screen, Range of Features, Radio Clarity, Audio I/O, CD Quality and Function, Looks and More!

Wave Radio/CD, as I have tried to before but Ciao have only just started to list it, so here we go! As a short introduction though before we start the full review, I?d like to say that this is the most fabulous portable CD/Radio I have ever, seen or heard! Sound Quality = Now, this is as a Bose, a rather expensive piece of kit, although you definitely get what you pay for, or in this case, so much more! WAVE hello to this excellent unit

Advantages: Stylish, great sound quality, unique
Disadvantages: None, but remote control is too small!

...I purchased my WAVE system early this year (07) and have been delighted with it's simple approach and near perfect sound quality. Bearing in mind I used to have a BIG Pioneer unit with CD/amp/phono, I saved a huge amount of space by making the switch and the BOSE unit now sits on a storage cabinet in my living room. Sound quality is superb and the clarity produced by the WAVE system is as promised. If you can, I'd certainly shell out the extra dosh for the multi-changer CD option. Customer service is exceptional - the one problem I have with the machine is the tiny, credit card sized remote control which I promptly lost within a week of receiving the system - however, one phone call to their team and I had a replacement at no cost within days. Keep it somewhere very safe as there are no buttons on the unit; understandable but...

Advantages: Versatile, easily blended, easy to use, not tested on animals.
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, only two colour ways available.

That said some of the designer makeup ranges would charge a lot more than that. Well I treated myself which I sound like I do a lot of from my other reviews but I don't, honest. The Shimmer Waves comes in a small plastic holder (7x7x1.5cms) with a lid, which flips up, I have found this a good place to lean my mirror against while applying it. The packaging is all clear so you can see the product. There is just the Body Shop logo on the lid, "Shimmer Waves" with the same in French. An eye symbol and face symbol to show where they can be used. Although it can be used any time of the year, 'Ocean Waves' is advertised as a 'Beach Blonde' product which is a range by John Frieda. John Frieda has lots of products for blonde hair, and now also does a range for brunettes and redheads. As you can probably tell from my photo, I have blonde, reasonably long and straight hair. Sometimes, I like to make my hair wavy for a change, I do this by plaiting my hair into 8 plaits after I have washed it and then undoing them when they are dry.
