BMW X3 3.0L Sport

Advantages: Spacious family vehicle.
Disadvantages: Likes its fuel!

...I've had this vehicle for just over 1 year. At the time of buying i was unsure whether to get a 2.0L diesel or the 3.0L Sport. I ended up getting a really good deal on the sport so thought i'll go for the bigger engine. Petrol/Diesel - me being female - doesn't really bother me!! Well, that was until i purchased this car. My lord its so thirsty!! At the moment i have nearly reached 8000 miles and i'm getting 17 mpg. I thought in time this would get better - unfortuantely it hasn't. (I travel 11 miles to work, mostly in traffic) On a plus side, even though the car is expensive to run, its a lovely car. If you're a driver who travels lots on the motorway you would probably get 25 mpg, which isn't great but its barable. The car is the sport version, the suspension is a little hard but you would expect this from a sports car...

BMW X3, Ugly Duckling.

Advantages: Nice Smooth Engine

...Hi, I'd like to point out right now, that I do not own this car, this is from my own experience from the times I've driven it, borrowed it and generally used it. Where do I start. The first thing to mention is that this is an Automatic with a Step-Tronic box. The power delivery is immensely smooth, the changes are short, sharp and precise and if you toe it, the car will redline before changing gear, and it STILL feels effortless, with no fuss what so ever. The engine, is a tad overkill being a 3.0l and makes this thing go like a rocket. It's super quiet and refined, however epecially at todays prices, if you drive it keenley expect 7MPG and massive hole in your pocket. Disadvantages: No common phone book. When reading or deleteing lists (call, SMS) it only applies to that phone.

We have both; we simply re-registered the X3 phones to the X3i base making it see 6 handsets. Firstly, forget any preconceptions you may have about these being Binatone phones, they leagues apart from what they used to produce in the past. The phones themselves are very stylish being only 15mm thick and have a lovely clean modern look about them. The keypad is of the membrane type that helps with keeping it clean if sticky fingers get at it! There are two colours of keypad available, a limited edition silver colour and a black. We have both but to be honest we prefer the black. The keypad is backlit as is the phones colour display. Despite this, standby life and talk-time are more than ample for the home environment...

The Pinnacle Stratus 3.0 E is a good value hybrid

Advantages: Internal hub gears, sturdy frame, nice finish, responsive ride, great price

Review of Binatone I-DECT X3

The Infocus X3 is the perfect family investment, for films or PC

Advantages: Simple to use, long lamp life
Disadvantages: Quite noisy fan, regular filter cleaning needed

...The X3 projector is a great projector for family use, especially for DVDs and home cinema. The lamp use is excellent but I had to be careful to always clean the filter to maximise the lamp life as lamps are very expensive. In my opinion, the X3 is very easy to use, and has easy installation onto any surface (even a wall) for projection with little space needed. The main concern when I bought this projector was whether it would be of good quality, and it has the standards needed for any video requirements. I wouldn't recommend this to gamers as such as it isn't as good for gaming systems, but still works fine. However, the use of it with a PC or Laptop is great, especially when you are wanting to use your desktop, video conference or simply view the screen....

Toyota Camry 3.0 V6 1998

Advantages: Fast Motorway Car
Disadvantages: Forget it about town-buy a Corsa

...I brought a 1998 Camry V6 3.0 back in early September 2007. 2 previous owners and 183,000 on the clock (nothing for this car), driven daily from Telford to Birmingham. Having owned the car for 4 months and putting another 10,000 motorway miles on the clock I have to say that generally it is an excellent car. First the bad points. With petrol currently between 99.9 and 106.9 a litre in the UK you need to bear this in mind. In fuel alone this car costs 16 pence a mile, even more about town. Add to that the cost of servicing at the recommended 9,000 miles in addition to replacement consumables (I put 2 new front tyres on in November) and you soon realise that this is not a Ford Fiesta. These considerations are for the most part forgotten the moment you get behind the wheel. This is a car of modest features yet it has a quality...

Review of Toyota Camry 3.0

Peugeot 3.0 V6 Coupe

Advantages: Sleek looks, awesome power and spacious
Disadvantages: Guzzles petrol, service/repair costs, insurance and poor alloys.

...the brakes are depressed. The front dash doesn't look too plasticy which is a bonus and is covered with some sort of soft leather/vinyl material. It is and does give the impression of space inside. The safety aspect of the car comprises of both driver, passenger and side airbags. PERFORMANCE I have a 3.0 V6 24v auto engine which admittedly does burn fuel on round the town journeys (19.2 mpg) but is more economical on motorway journeys (36.2mpg). It is 210 bhp as standard and I think this is more than enough for me at present. With a top speed of 144-149 mph, it doesn't hang around, the auto gear box comprises 3 speeds and has a snow/icy mode and a sports mode for more responsiveness. A 0-60 in around 7.5 seconds which isn't bad considering the weight (1910kg) of the car. FINAL THOUGHT...

X3 Reunion -a beautiful but flawed game

Advantages: amazing visuals, massive opportunities, open ended gameplay, wide choice of gameplay styles.
Disadvantages: High computer requirements. Currently very buggy, terrible terrible TERRIBLE storyline, bad acting, bad cgi cutscenes.

...X3 is actually the fourth in the X series, originally starting with X:Beyond The Frontier wayy back in 1997. All the X games have built upon what was offered in the orignal game. Basic story/game outline: player starts as the former pirate, who's father was searching for a way back home from the universe that he currently inhabits (think Farscape and your not too wrong), as you play along you find out more and more that leads you to why your stranded, the nature of the invading enemies, and your history. Gameplay: The real reason any player should buy the X series is not for the storyline, which is notoriously bad in pretty much all of them, its for the sheer open endedness of the game. it is as near to an offline, single player version of EVE that you can get. you can trade, build stations, fight races of creatures, pirates...

Running a used A4 3.0 Quattro Saloon

Advantages: Performance, Build Quality, Reliability, and Practicality.
Disadvantages: Running costs may not suit all people.

...This is my second Audi A4, and I bought it on the strength of my experiences with my previous A4. My car is a 2002 model 3.0 Quattro Sport with the 6 speed manual ?box. I bought this car used with 55,000 miles on the clock 6 months ago, replacing my previous car, which had covered 107,000 miles. The key strengths of this car are much the same as the previous car, namely: Reliability, Build quality, Comfort, Practicality, and Driving Involvement. I bought this car, as I also wanted more performance, as well as a newer car with lower mileage. The 3.0 6-cylinder engine is wonderfully smooth and quiet in general driving, while under harder acceleration it provides a suitably sporting growl. The six-speed ?box doesn?t rev any lower in top gear than my 2.0?s 5 speed, but the closer ratios make it extremely flexible for open road/A road...
