...Ok I decided to do a re-write on this review so here goes:
Low printer prices have made the Lexmark X75 PrinTrio unit a bargain well what I class as a bargain, it cost me around £50inc delivery and 2 cartridges which cost about the same as this. It copies, scans, and prints, hence the name PrinTrio. This Lexmark does what it says on the tin lol. Including printing at 2,400 by 1,200 dpi resolution at speeds up to 11 PPM in black, and 6 PPM in colour, one-touch 48 bit scanning and one-touch colour copying. Note, the printer needs to be attached to the computer and the computer needs to be on for it to work as a copier.
A good thing about this "printer" is the design of the product. It is compact. At about 18 x 13 x 6" don't ask what it is in cm the ruler I had only had inches lol. to be honest it isn't that much larger than a single...

Review of Lexmark X75 PrinTrio
Advantages: Cheap to buy easy to install Disadvantages: Consumables not cheap unless you shop around.
...realistically print a couple of times a week and let the kids do their homework on it, then this is for you.
The replacement cartridges come in at around £25 ? 27 a time although they can be got cheaper from internet suppliers. Also be warned that smaller would be suppliers of cartridges may not stock consumables for your X75.
NB: The cheapest I have found so far are to br got at ebuyer.com - £14-15 each, that makes this very competitive compared to other similar printers.
The best thing for me about the X75 is its size, I don?t have a lot to spare and this thing is so well designed that it will fit just about anywhere you could reasonably expect. It is also quiet in operation, which is another bonus.
Printer controls are designed for the average monkey, If you have trouble here the problem isn?t the printer it is you.

...After spending copious amounts of money on Lexmark ink cartridges over the last 3 years that i've owned my Lexmark X75 all in one printer, I finally discovered ink refill kits! So I ordered a £9.99 Hansol lexmark refill kit with up to 6 refills from Ink Cycle's online store.
The ordering was quick and easy and with delivery included in the price, quite a bargain! After 2 days the parcel finally arrived and I set about using the syringes included in the relatively easy to use start up kit, to fill my existing empty black ink cartridge with ink. The instructions were very straight forward and a handy holder was included for the empty cartridge to sit in whilst refilling took place, making the whole process safe from spillages!

...We bought this to replace our old and worn out Canon S200.
Simply took the printer out of the box remove packaging and installed the cartridges, connected to the PC powered up andwithin 5 minutes we were up and running.
This printer prints at 2400x1200 dpi giving photo quality prints although it can be a little slow when printing in colour.
The lexmark all in one software is extremely easy to use for copying, scanning etc. But it is also very helpful if you every need help with technical problems.
The printer only cost £50 with 2 packs of photo paper thrown in and so was extremely good value.
The biggest downside is the cost of replacement cartridges, the high capacity cartridgescost around £25 pounds each for black and colour. I have tried getting them refilled, but on 2 occassions have had to go back and change for new...

...Unfortunately, Lexmark cartridges are already quite expensive compared to some of the other makes. If you aren't prepared to pay much for your cartridges then the No.17 is the best choice for you. Unfortunately, the No.17 is only moderate yield so doesn't last for very long. Better value for money is the No.16 cartridge. It is the same shape and size as the No.17 and is compatible with exactly the same printers. The difference is that the No.16 lasts for more than double the amount of time than the No.17 does. The No.16 does cost more money to begin with (usually £5 more), but for the amount of time it lasts it's worth paying the extra few pounds.

..., having decided that the best deal I could find was on Play.com for just £24.99 with free postage, I placed an order and waited eagerly for it to arrive.
Out of the box
As always I could hardly wait to look into the packaging to find out exactly what I had bought. The printer itself measures less than 5" x 3" (125 x75mm) and is about 1" (25 mm) thick. Easily small enough to fit into a pocket and it certainly slips into my handbag with no trouble at all. The images it prints are around 3" x 2" (75x 50mm) so they are quite twee but the quality is reasonable and if you wish you can peel off the backing sheet and use the pictures as stickers.
Within the box I also got the mains adapter and a battery plus 10 sheets of the special paper which allows this printer to print without using any ink. It took me minutes to get the printer...
