...Introduction I would like to start this review explaining why I chose to buy this product over the many other video camera choices out there. the first reason I chose to buy this product was because I have fallen in love with many products that the Sanyo company have sent me in the past and when it was time to update my video camera my attention was immediately drawn to this product as it is considered to be the worlds smallest high definition video camera to date. My first look at this camera came in my local electrical goods store where I was amazed at its quality and lightness. Sanyo Xacti E60 - Style and substance !

Advantages: Great image quality. 3 x Internal optical lens. Impressive 3 inch screen.
Disadvantages: Average and limited flash.

...The sanyo Xacti E60 is the successor to the popular E6 - but the few additional functions make this a useful and desirable ultra compact camera to own ! As with the E6 - the 3 inch screen and 3 x konica minolta non-protruding optical lens are excellent ! The menu system is simple to navigate, it takes SD cards and the movie mode is great quality (if not a little greedy on memory !). An Excellent Compact Camera - Excellent Value for Money

...An excellent compact "single hand" camera that takes good quality still images and videos. I bought this camera more specifically to videos without the problems of weight that you usually get with ordinary video cameras. I was surprised just how light this feels whilst in use, without lacking a sense of solidity at the same time. The built in image stabiliser does a reasonable job of keeping the images still but it does not overcome all camera shake. However, better that nothing! The videos are not HD but offer a good level of image quality and are more than compensated for with the lower purchase price of this model compared to the HD Xacti range. If you want TOP quality videos, this model will not do for you and you would be well advised to invest in the more expensive models available, however the overall video performance was...

...Looking for a compact digital camera which delivers great pictures and you can carry around in your pocket ? Well, I was ! I tried out some Casios,Panasonics and looked at buying Sonys and Canons... but in the end took what I thought was a risk ... and purchased a Sanyo Xacti E6. Sanyo have a small range of cameras and camcorders but are known primarily as cam manufacturers for other popular makes. So the E6 came as a revelation. This is a solid looking camera with an uncluttered handsome design which quickly gets admiring glances from friends and family. A charming, handy and very good camera

Advantages: compact, neat photos, ease of use, quick to start, big screen, long lasting batteries
Disadvantages: smallest data plug ever seen! a charging plug like mobile's ones needed

...this kind of camera, would you? I don't care a lot about this feature, but it can take pretty good movie clips too, which can come in handy, sooner or later. I hate using flash, but this one is not too bad. Anyway, best photos are taken in natural light, as always. There' just few chromatic rumor until 200 asa. Menu settings are quite easy to understand, though you can't fully configure the camera. As reported previously, the disadvantages of this camera are an incredibly small plug for all the connections with pc, printer or tv, and the lack of a charging plug or dock like in mobile phones or kodak cameras. Sometimes you'll find tour fingers in the view, as there's no protruding objective. As for now (nov. 2005) the Sanyo xacti j4 can be found at low price (about 190euro), so I think it's a good deal. I've bought 4 digital cameras...
