...Power is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of the xbox 360 elite, it has a huge 120GB hard disk drive and the graphics seem to run alot smoother that the original xbox 360 for some reason. I had the original xbox 360 but that died on me about 2 weeks after buying, microsoft seem to have sorted out these little issues that kept crashing the system. The elite has a HDMI port which means you can connect this straght into your HD socket on your tv, I have a 42 inch plasma and i thought the graphics was good on my old Xbox 360 through a scart lead but once i plugged this in i was blown away! The graphics are amazing, perfect detail can be seen on the games that you play. You get the HDMI cable with this system too which is just great as they are quite exspensive to buy, you also get one black wirless controller and a headset...

...I have previously owned two Xbox 360 Premium consoles in the past. I decided to purchase again with the release of Halo 3. Overall I\'m very happy with the Elite. Its main advantage over the Premium is the larger 120GB hard drive. Compared to buying a console and the larger hard drive it represents good value for money. If you want to download lots of demos and not have to worry about lack of space then the bigger drive is definitely worth it. If you just want HDMI then that should now be available on the Premium console. Another thing that I have found with the past two consoles that I have owned run rather loud. The Elite seems to be slightly less noisy but this still depends on what DVD drive you get in your system. Unfortunately it is down to luck which one you\'ll get. ...Ok, here's a quick run down of my thoughts on the 360, probably throw in a few comparisons with the PS3, won't bother too much with the Wii since it's not really what I would class as a serious games machine, good fun in short spells or with "non-gamers" but that's about it. Had the 360 for a couple of years now, I was seduced by Halo 3 having been addicted to the first 2 games on the original, I'm a little bit of a FPS nut so I'm well covered with the 360 as that seems to be the systems main genre as it was with the original. ...Being a playstation boy I've never bothered with the Xbox, however through boredom and impulse I found myself buying an Xbox 360 one day. To coin a Carlsberg phrase, the 360 is probably the best console around. The graphics are second to none and until sony can get to grip with what they really want out of the PS3 the 360 will remain streets ahead. It is available from around £180 upwards depending on system and game bundles you purchase with it with again leaves it extremely better priced than the PS3. ...The microsoft xbox 360 is in my opinion the best games console out there, ultimately enhanced by the superb online gameplay capabilities and magnificient graphics which it has. It is incredibly easy to use (even my dad can use it) and it is easy to transfer date from a computer to it also. There is a huge variety of games that can be played on it and the games that can only be played on the xbox 360 (gears of war, halo 3) are better than the games that can only be played on Sony Playstation 3 (Little Big Planet). Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - Best console ever made!

Advantages: Looks good/Good storage/Great games/Great graphics/can play films and videos/music/lots lots more.
Disadvantages: Very expensive accesories, especially the wireless adaptor

...I bought my Elite for around £300 around 2 years ago from the Game store in Nottingham. It came with one game and seemed very reasonably priced compared to the premium console as it was only around £50 more and included a 120GB hard-drive!! which is massive, and would set you back atleast £60 but at the time even £120 to buy seperately. Plus at the time this was the only xbox to have HDMi for easy connection to a HD TV through one small cable. I understand that alot of people may love the PS3, and thats ok if you can settle for an inferior console, I just want to warn any PS3 fanboys (or fangirls) you should look away now :P There are so many great things about the xbox 360 Elite.
