Reviews of xbox 360 cable
Xbox 360 Degree Overview
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 by
carl2005
Advantages: wireless control pads, out of this world graphics, uses windows media centre
Disadvantages: lack of games when launched, games are expensive, fan is nosiy
...time.
Media Centre
The xbox 360 uses Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, Media Center. It is a good way to enjoy digital media content such as live and recorded TV shows, digital photos, digital music and videos.
Device Connectivity
The good thing about the xbox 360 s that you can connect digital camera's, ipod and mp3 players through the usb ports. It recognises
Xbox 360 Core System
The core system costs £209 and is the basic version. The Core System includes an Xbox 360 console with a standard white fascia, a single wired controller, and a composite AV cable that will work with virtually all modern tv's. You will need to invest in a hard drive to save your games and data onto, because without one there is no other way of saying your data.
Xbox 360
The next step up is the misnamed Xbox 360. This version includes the Xbox 360...

Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit
Review of Xbox 360 Play And Charge Kit by
MattayBoy
Advantages: Very Useful, Does what it says, Decent Value
Disadvantages: Maybe should be standard with the console
...The great thing about the play and charge kit is, its a product that does exactly what it says on the tin, it charges while you play. You plug one end into the 360, the other into the controller and play as normal, and the cable will fill up your controller again.
Its such a useful piece of kit, that I was surprised it didn't come included with the 360, but still, guess around 15 pounds for both the cable and battery pack together isn't bad.
The cable is rugged, but it goes without saying, make sure its out of the way and that you don't trip over it or something silly like that, as it can lead to the pack not always getting charged.
This is an essential, a must for 360 owners. Get it....

Review of Microsoft Official Xbox 360 - Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Membership Card by
Danneey
Advantages: Online multiplayer, priviledges downloads
Disadvantages: Price a little daunting at first, additional hardware required, PS3 online is free
...connection, you have a number of options, each requiring the use of an ADSL router:
Wired, a network cable between your Xbox and your router. The simplest and cheapest option if your console is close to your router.
Wireless via the Xbox 360 wireless adaptor, Microsoft's choice, as they charge approx £60 for the adaptor. This plugs into the back of the 360, via the network port and rear facing USB port. The adaptor is powered by the 360, and is a neat option. Your ADSL router requires a wireless function for this to work.
Wireless via an access point configured as a wireless client. Using a network cable between the 360 and the access point, the access point provides your link to your home wireless. Again, this requires your ADSL router to provide wireless access. The access point will cost you about £25 and about a fiver for the network...

Cheap and Handy
Review of Xbox 360 Play And Charge Kit by
petebrolly
Advantages: Charges Pretty Quickly, Allows you to play whilst charging
Disadvantages: should perhaps be free with console
...The xbox 360 play and charge kit allows you to recharge your wireless xbox 360 joypad whilst you play. It simply plugs into the socket on top of your xbox 360 control pad and into the usb port at the front of your console. The kit contains the usb cable and an NiMH rechargeable battery pack.
It has around 30 hours of play time per charge (enough for well over a week of extended playing!), with each charge taking a few hours to be fully topped up, and you won't mind waiting those few hours as you'll be playing your game anyway!
Its definately a handy little device as it saves you having to buy disposable batteries (that the xbox 360 wireless control pad uses as standard) every soon often, thus eliminating any "control pad running out of power" potential gaming disasters that we all fear when anyone mentions "wireless control pads...

Xbox 360 Advanced AV Cable
Review of Microsoft Official Xbox 360 Advanced Scart AV Cable by
ch_123
Advantages: Vastly improves the 360s graphics on SDTVs
Disadvantages: None
...If you dont have an HDTV this cable is a must have buy this cable the difference it makes is absolutly huge. The picture is much sharper and text in games is clearer, the colours more vibrant. This cable makes the console have much more of a Next gen feel and it is singly one of the best accesories you could buy for your 360 is you are playing your 360 on an SDTV. Well I know it would be a lot better to pay just £17.99 than £400-£1000 for an HDTV especially after just paying £279.99/£199.99 for your console respectivly. So this cable is a must have if you do not own an HDTV you will see the difference. Sharper, More vibrant colours!
However you cannot help feeling that this cable should have been included as standard in the package.
But Excellent nonetheless!...

A MUST HAVE!!
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit by
naesxx
Advantages: Charges while you play, Very Simple a Must Have
Disadvantages: Slow Charge Time
...The Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, Is a Necessity for anyone who has the Xbox 360 and at least one Wireless 360 Controller, The pack consists of
1 x high-performance NiMH rechargeable battery cell
1 x USB Cable
If you own a wireless pad you will know already that you need to replace your batteries every so often to continue gaming, this in its self can be expensive, environmentally unfriendly and a pain!, so how do we solve those problems in one go, how about a battery that can give 25 hours of nonstop play time with a charging cable that allows you to play while the battery is recharged?
Sounds good then you need the play and charge kit, the battery itself is the same colour and texture as the controller and clips in place like the normal battery cradle does, the charger cable clips on the top of the controller and insert the USB...

A definite purchase for true High-Def gaming
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable Game console link cable by
RicME85
Advantages: Clearer, Sharper graphics
Disadvantages: Doesnt support 50hz games, Short audio leads
...When I first got my Mircrosoft Xbox 360 I didnt have a High-Definition television so I was stuck using the standard component cable. When I finally did upgrade my television I didnt think the picture quality was as good as the hype so did some research and found that maybe VGA would be worth a crack. Upon using the VGA cable for the first time the picture seemed instantly sharper. After tweaking the resolution of both my television and the Xbox 360 I found that the VGA cable was a very good purchase.
There are a few issues with the cable though. As the cable displays through 60Hz I had to revert back to the component cable for certain Original Xbox games. Also with this Official cable I found that the audio leads were too short to reach my surround sound system without strain.
Apart from those problems VGA is definitely the way...

No more need for batteries!
Review of Xbox 360 Play And Charge Kit by
Darko3B
Advantages: Saves money on batteries, charges quickly
Disadvantages: Cable is a bit on the short side
...The play and charge kit allows you to replace the battery pack in your wireless controller with this rechargeable pack, and so there is no longer any need to keep buying batteries. It is very simple to use, just replace the battery pack with the rechargeable one and plug one end of the cable into the controller and the other into your Xbox 360.
This will charge up your controller as you carry on playing, and so never again will you have to stop your gaming as you search high and low for those elusive batteries around the house (eventually taking the batteries out of the TV remote).
At around £10-£15 for the cable and charge pack it is a fairly decent price for something that will save quite a bit of money on batteries in the future. It also charges fairly quickly and so you can remove the cable and have your wireless controller...

Xbox 360 - Review
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 by
ch_123
Advantages: Fantastic graphical capability, Support for wireless controllers, looks sleek and sexy
Disadvantages: The Power Brick is well...A Brick, Noisy, Gets very hot.
...and are extremely smooth on a SDTV. Now, If you have a SDTV I recommend the Official Xbox 360 Advanced SCART Cable which will improve your 360s graphical performance on an SDTV and for just £17.99 is well worth it though you may feel that after forking out £279.99 or £199.99 respectivly that it should have perhaps been issued as standard. Trust me though, the 360 looks superb whatever TV you hook it up to, HD or SD!
Core or Premium? Which bundle should I choose?
PREMIUM!!! I cannot stress enough that the premium is the bundle to go for! The extra £80 is well worth it in the long run and will save you alot of hassle in the long run.
Why I hear you ask, well here is why:
Included in the Core pack you have:
1 Xbox 360 Console
1 WIRED gamepad
1 Composite AV cable (Meaning if you have an HDTV all games will run at Standard definition)
1 Month of Xbox...
