...Xbox Live is good value compared to some other online subscriptions e.g. World of Warcradt or Everquest as with these you pay everymonth just for one game, whereas with xbox live you only pay once to go online with pretty much all your games. You then get tempted, however, to pay for extra online contect such as extra levels, characters, backdrops for your xbox live dashboard, arcade games etc. etc. So it's never as cheap as it seems! The service on xbox live is good and it's rare to have connection issues so gameplat online tends to be smooth. Occasionally you may shoot at someone only to find they already moved- lag is rare but does happen and can be annoying. The range of games that can be played online is excellent, and isn't just shooting and fighting! Guitar hero plays online brilliantly with options for guitar battles...

Xbox Live is the leading service for online experiences on gaming consoles, there are tons of arcade games you can purchase, films to rent, tv episodes to buy - the fun is endless. It should be noted that in order to use this code you need to be able to connect to the internet with your xbox, either by wireless or ethernet. This 'card' contains a code which you enter on the xbox to enable you to play online with thousands of other gamers. It costs around £35, unlike the PS3 which is free to play online. But as I and many others agree Xbox Live is far superior and worth every penny. A word of advice, go careful when scratching the code, scratch too hard and code becomes unreadable (There is no way to get your money back!) This card is for gold membership...

Xbox Live - It's another world

...Introduction Xbox live is the name of the Microsofts online service for the Xbox 360. This service gives you access to a vast array of content, some of it free, and some of it at a price. There are 2 types of membership available, namely Gold and Silver. Silver is a free membership which is available to all Xbox owners. Xbox Live Membership - A Must Have

Advantages: Many new features, as well as playing online with your friends

...This is an exellent product that has great value. If you own an xbox 360, this is a must have. It increases the xbox's abilities by two. You can download game demos, xbox live arcade games, and most importantly play online. Online mode is included in most games, and its really fun to play. You can invite your friends to play with you as well. I currently own Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Halo 3 (be sure to look at those reviews) and most of the time that I play those, I play online. In both of those games, you can join in a party with your added friends on the friends list and discuss your plans of how to eliminate the other team. Also, if you are interested in getting a larger gamerscore, some games have badges that are only available on online....

Getting the membership also allows users to download add ons, trailers and demos for any game. You are able to stay connected and play an of your friends My Experience I found that buying the gold membership opened up my opportunities on the xbox. I was able to play a wider range of games and people. I rarely suffered from any technical difficulties while online, and any that i did suffer from were easily repaired. Personally i think the Membership is a great buy and is worth every penny. Anyone with £40 who doesnt have Xbox Live Gold should go and purchase it...

12 Months Gold Membership To Xbox Live

...To some people £30 to £35 a year to buy something that you can get for free from the play-station 3 sounds like a bit of a rip off. But you get so much more from playing on xbox live then you would from playing online on any other console. For example, you can download new content for games from the xbox live marketplace after you've purchased a game. So that instead of just completing a game and then letting it grow moss at the top of your shelf, new and interesting features are added to it to keep you entertained by it for longer. Also you get the ability to sign in and use your MSN Messenger account whilst you play your games online. This really is worth the money believe me and to be honest i cant see how any body could by an xbox 360 and not buy this as well. It just seems so pointless....

...Xbox live is undeniably the main reason to own an Xbox, I would go as far as saying that you might as well not bother owning one if you have never gamed online! I went with the gold version, which gives you full access to online gaming, and also offers gamer feedback, online leaderboards and probably most importantly, the ability to talk (abuse jokingly) your opponents live via the headset. I also like the way that you can see what games your friends are playing online from your PC! However, if you do prefer to play single player games, rather than against realtime opponents, the downloadable content on Xbox Live is a great place for enhancing the experience of games you own via new levels, items, tracks, vehicles, weapons, characters- anything you want really. Three words - Get Xbox Live....
