XBOX 360 40gb Console

Advantages: Great graphics, Great sound, easy set up
Disadvantages: Aimed at the older gamer

...Having owned a Nintendo Wii for 9 months and an old Playstation 2, I had no need to buy a new console, then bang the Playstation went up in a puff of smoke. So what to buy next Playstation 3 or XBOX 360. When push came to shove it came down to price, at nearly £150 less the XBOX was the only real choice for our family. The excitement built as we unpacked and set up which was really easy with the quick set up guide and easy to understand manual in about 20 different languages. The XBOX was just what we'd expected fantastic graphics and superb sound easy to use and excellent value for money. The only drawback i've encountered is that it is aimed at the older gamer with lots of gory bloodthirsty games, if you've got to younger children this probably not the console for you. I would advise choosing the Wii and having a fantastic family...

XBOX 360 A great console to buy.

Advantages: Good value for money, looks quite trendy
Disadvantages: live points can mean extra to pay out if you want to go online.

...In my opinion the XBOX 360 is a really good buy priced at around £200 if not less if your lucky, it's a console that you (or whoever you intend on purchasing one for) will get a lot of use out of. The arcade is the cheapest and it costs around £140. My son and my brother both had one each for christmas last year and they have been used pretty much constantly!! The games can be quite expensive but you can find some good bargains in some shops and you'll find pre-owned games a lot cheaper, sometimes saving atleast £20 off the usual selling price! They aren't that bad to look at either and do not look out of place under you TV. I know with some XBOX 360 consoles you can get problems such as 'the red ring of death' but microsoft will usually sort this out for you if it's still under warranty (not sure if there is a cost) but this...

xbox 360 premium console

Advantages: superb gfx, hd compatible

...As soon as i heard about the new xbox 360 console i knew i had to buy it but sadly did not get till a few months after its realese date.Personally i tend to buy the most upgraded version of a console i can so i choose the premium console over the standard console. this saves you alot of money as a hard drive,hd cable and wireless controlers that are in the premium console,sold seperattly would set you back £100 round about. having bought my xbox with top games i turned on and setting up and signing to xbox live could not have been easy with the helpful aid to guide you through. Having created profiles i played the truly amazing PGR3 and the amazing graphics that the 3 cores running at around 3.2 ghz and the graphics card chucked out shocked me and the 1080i HD image blew me away as played on what seemed like the most real experience...

XBOX 360 - A gem in the console world

...I am quite a demanding gamer.... but alas i have given in to the xbox 360 and have even bought one for my little brother. The best thing about the xbox 360is the quality and catalouge of games which it supports. Microsoft have hit the nail on the head with its graphics which I think are far better than its rival ( sorry sony ) . The set up of the console is extremely easy and wireless control pads stop us from tripping over it like we did with our old console. The cost of the xbox 360 is very competitive compared to rival game stations and depending on where you shop you can now get an extremely good deal including game bundles. XBOX 360 used to have some issues with the dreaded "red ring of death" ( console stops working) but we have had ours for two years and no such problems have arisen. Xbox 360 Halo 3 Limited Edition Console

Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - Best console ever made!

Advantages: Looks good/Good storage/Great games/Great graphics/can play films and videos/music/lots lots more.
Disadvantages: Very expensive accesories, especially the wireless adaptor

...I bought my Elite for around £300 around 2 years ago from the Game store in Nottingham. It came with one game and seemed very reasonably priced compared to the premium console as it was only around £50 more and included a 120GB hard-drive!! which is massive, and would set you back atleast £60 but at the time even £120 to buy seperately. Plus at the time this was the only xbox to have HDMi for easy connection to a HD TV through one small cable. I understand that alot of people may love the PS3, and thats ok if you can settle for an inferior console, I just want to warn any PS3 fanboys (or fangirls) you should look away now :P There are so many great things about the xbox 360 Elite.
