Great camera, great phone - get the software update.

Advantages: Amazing camera, lovely screen
Disadvantages: Early handsets need a software update to avoid bugs

...I was delighted when this phone finally hit the shops and it came on a good contract - so a brilliant start! The camera really is fabulous. I really wanted a digital camera that also makes phone calls and sends text messages and this is about as close as you can get. The flash is a handy Xenon and the (quality) lens is protected by the slide cover that hasn't opened by accident in my pocket yet as some other phones do. The photos it takes are amazing and deserve a separate review. The screen is lovely and this forgives the size of the phone. Viewing photos and videos is great. The touchscreen takes some getting used to but I am just as quick texting now as I was with any phone that had a keypad. (By the way, a previous review said it doesn't have predictive text but it does.) Ooh - and ignore the stylus, there's just no need for it...

My first diesel and was pleasantly surprise!

Advantages: Fuel economy is brilliant,over taking power great.

...I own one of this and i love it.It's a 3g phone with an awesome 3.2 megapixel camera.What i love in this device is that it has powerful xenon flash that's works perfect on shooting even in a dark background.I've tried taking pictures in the dark last Halloween and it's perfect almost like shooting in daylight.The picture is clear and in good quality.It also has great mp3 player and radio.I love the head phones and the sound quality. The only downside for me is that the video capture is only on 3gp format ,only good for sending video messages, unlike mp4 capabled nokia n73 and samsung d900.Btw, it can play mp4 files What i also love is that it has long battery life,great for playing mp3 and listening to radio.Forget the mp4 video capture,This one really rocks when it comes to being camera phone and mp3 player...

...In my opinion, with its easy to use format, and un fiddly buttons, if your looking for something still high in good quality technology, but not too complicated mobile, then the sony ericsson k800i cyber-shot is the choice for you. It features a high quality camera of 3.2 megapixels, with xenon flas, it wont dispoint. In my opinion, from personal experience, i use nothing else than sony ericsson now, ive gone from nokia, to samsung, and ericsson has been by far the most reliable, durable, stylish choice. The only down fall about this phone is that the analog stick (like on most mobiles) tends to get 'sticky' when used for a long perios of time, making it difficult to move from icon to icon.
