It was clear in my evaluation as a professional engineer that this product was not fit for purpose. I also questioned the dealer?s ability to make such a professional judgement. This let to a game of e-mail tennis. I gave up with them and decided to go straight to the source. I contacted Cateye and eventually after much perseverance on my part (and a set of photos showing the damage), Cateye accepted that the headlight was faulty. They said that they would have to contact the UK distributor to arrange a replacement to be sent to me. I felt vindicated and elated after a month of e-mail tennis I had a un-henman like result I won!!!!!. Alas no I have had no further contact from either Cateye...

Halfords Foreign Travel Car Headlight Stickers

...Last month I begrudgingly paid £7.00 for a pair of Halfords small sticky plastic headlight adjusters for my VW Golf to enable me to take my car on holiday in Europe. Following the instructions I applied the stickers to the Golf's headlights the night before my journey. My first diesel and was pleasantly surprise!

Advantages: Fuel economy is brilliant,over taking power great.

That way you will get the benefit of all the optional extras plus any depriciation that occurred. My 320d SE Touring came with leather,rain sensor,xenon light,automatic ,6 cd and headlight washer. All these options cost around £4000,which would have boosted a new car price to around £29,000! I brought it for £22,950. A saving of nearly £6000. The automatic does slow the car down abit,but if you switch it to the steptonic mode it really goes. I was amazed at the mid range power of this car. The other day i did a naughty thing and decided to race a BMW 740i. I was expecting it to overtake me with no problem,so i put the it to steptonic and put my foot down.To my amazement the 320D was neck to neck with the 740i...

...This cars must be one of the best kept secrets out there. The qulity of thsi model is outstanding. The leather inerior and wood surrounds are quite luxurious. The engine is a 2.o TDI diesel which is chipped up to 175 BHP. The drive is quite so soft but the power is tremendous. The car is maxed with goodies. Automatic parking is a scince in its self. The auto lights , the auto wipers. heated seats, cruise control , 30 insdie lights. Headlights that move with directiin spped control. Xenon lights. Its a boo and at the press of a button its a hatch. The room in the back is MASSIVE. It really is huge. The Touch screen SAT nav is really cool as is the touch screen everything else. THE DVD player and Free view TV are really cool. I bought mine in white and it looks really cool. Tinted windows all around . Auto seats at the press of a button...

This is non-removable. You simply wind a crank to charge it up. The usual question is "It must be a gimmick, does it actually work?" The answer is a resounding YES! It works very well indeed. The technology is simple, it uses the same system as Trevor Bayliss used on his wind up radio. Winding for about 30 seconds gives eight minutes of light, which is impressive.
