Advantages: great size

...My mum has this phone and being Nokia persuaded her to buy it. It's a good phone and the size is good also what I like is it was the first model to be able to have changeable phone covers. The only annoying thing is you can't download ringtones from the internet onto this model but you can with the newer ones. You can fortunately get graphics though. If you want free graphics for your Nokia 5110 www.boltblue.co.uk is good and you don't have to pay like other sites it is dleivered within 24 hours....

5110 Old News?

...When I first bought my Nokia5110, I was extremely pleased, as I went in 5 shops which sold it for £100, but I found a shop (The Carphone Warehouse) which sold it for £80, at the time, this phone was state of the art, and I was very pleased as all I wanted it for was to call people and to play snakes, however, now all the new phones have been released which have the interent, so if you do not wish to spend lots of money, and still have a good tariff Aswell as the ability to play snakes, then I suggest you but this phone, but if you are looking for something that is probably for business, then get the 7110 as it has internet and the latest technology, although it costs a lot of money....

...The Nokia 5110 has been praised since day one. Everyone thinks that this piece of machinery is great but the awful truth is that it isn't! Nokia's 5110 is to mobile phones, what Windows 95 is to Microsoft. An out-of-date product with so much hidden bugs and flaws that you would need the fingers and toes of most your friends to count them. Nokia say that 5110 is a reliable phone which can withstand most knocks and bumps, if only this was so. The battery on a lot of 5110s has become loose and will bang up and down if touched. When I originally bought it, just over a year ago, it was by far and away, the most popular phone on the market. Now, things don't seem to have changed all that much. 5110-Ready for the scrap heap...you decide

...The Nokia 5110 with changable fasia but only for the front, very heavy and quite frankly outdated! This phone has been around for many years and i am confident that it will be around for many more. But this phone is more for the older generation, with a heavy battery and no internet abilty, no voice activated dialing and not much out of the ordinary. It does all that you would need in a phone if you used it in emergencies for example but nothing more. Lets go through the menus and explain them: PHONE BOOK Nothing much to write home about here...with the normal features(search, add entry, erase, edit, send entry, options[just with a display option for the name and numbers and a memory reminder] and spped dials[which is about the most useful thing on the phone].
