Advantages: Good service & support, great print quality
Disadvantages: Too many mechanical problems - not reliable

.... One can easily switch off by accident while performing certain tasks. - Xerox sells a 220cc & 440cc ink cartridge. While the 220cc fits nicely benind an enclosed space, the 44cc ink cartrige sticks out by 10" outside the casing, and is not protected by a closed door, One can accidentaly knock against the cartridges that really protrude from the machine and thus damage the inside connection. Buying 2 times 220 cc cost more that 1 440 cc!! - Troublesome front roll windup as printed media comes out. A counter weight system that activates sensor to wind up paper has to be locked and unlocked everytime it is used compared to simply switching on and off a winding mechanism as with other large format printers. - Daily & weekly maintenance required access to constrained spaces with cleaning kit supplied by Xerox. Its only made of paper

The love nest (we shared the attic room) I shared with my boyfriend in a student house in the early seventies had the identical shade to the one in this picture. The reason why? Yes it was dirt cheap. Paper Toss Game

Advantages: A quick and simple game for free...

Ever since I downloaded this game a coupe of months back, it's still ranked as one of, if not the top free download game on the iTunes store - a great pinnacle to hold, especially considering how simple this game is. Now, remember the iPhone is a touch phone, and that's how you control the game. As the title denotes, you 'toss' the paper into the bin from a set distance regarding the level you pick - Easy, Medium or Hard. But it's not as straight forward as that. It never is! Advantages: Compact, Economical, Simple to set up and use
Disadvantages: Around £30 to replace all the ink.

...reports of such cartridges, but I suspect the whole quality, i.e. ink and ink well, is substandard so I’m going to buy originals I think! The print quality given by this Docuprint is very acceptable for a 2-year-old printer, and is certainly of a good quality. Obviously it is not of laser quality, but then what do you expect? From the printer control panel you can specify various options to make your print outs better or worse using such options as ink saver (worse), high quality (better) and photo quality (better still I assume but only if using the best paper around!) Recommended, if you can find one in as good condition as mine is! I would certainly look at a new Xerox in the future, as this model is a breeze to use! The only downside is that it can be a little noisy, but this is of little concern since the CD players...

PaperPro Stapler - The Easiest Stapler You'll Ever Use!

...A big claim huh? Well it's not MY personal claim but that of the company who manufactured and markets this "revolutionary" new stapler, Accentra, Inc. Labelled as "The Revolutionary PaperPro Stapler" with the tagline "Drives staples thru 15 sheets of paper with the press of a finger"! I couldn't wait to try this new stapler out at work to see if it delivered what it so bravely promised! I'm reviewing the PaperPro Stapler code #1507 which claims to staple through 15 sheets of paper with the effort of just one finger. It also claims "with Staple Gun Power"! Big claims for such an innocent looking bit of equipment. But does it deliver? My first thought on grabbing this stapler out of the stationery cupboard was that it had really annoying packaging - the plastic packaging which is so awkward that you can't open it without using...

  Xerox M750 built like a tank

Advantages: Cheap running costs, separate ink tanks, fairly fast.
Disadvantages: A cheap and easily broken paper out tray, some small errors from time to time.

L?espion I needed a printer capable of transferring my pictures from my computer onto paper, better than my aging Hewlett Packard Deskjet 400 was capable of. I was very tempted by some of the cheap but fairly well reviewed Lexmark printers. One shop were able to sell them at an amazing £30, with a specification similar to some of the well known brands. I was very tempted, until I looked into the running costs of such a machine. The original Lexmark cartridges were £25.99 for a black cartridge and £27.99 for a colour cartridge. This to me seemed ridiculous, as you could buy another printer for nearly the same money! I then trusted the reliability of Hewlett Packard, as my Deskjet 400 had served me well without any problems at all...

The GSM value assigned to paper is rated on firstly the grade of paper, then the surface of the paper and finally the weight of the paper. multipurpose paper

Advantages: less than 0.4p per sheet
Disadvantages: a wee bit thin

...I've been using this paper now for a couple of years. They seem to go back and forth between a paper packet (nice and recyclable) and a film packet (horrible transparent plastic rubbish), but as at yesterday (August 1, 2007) the pack is made of paper. It costs £1.74 at the moment, and it's been about that price since I first bought it. You get 500 sheets in the pack. The paper itself is good quality for a value item. I'm not saying it's fantastic, it's a tiny bit thinner (75gsm) than I'd like but you can't expect thick, premium quality paper from a supermarket's own cheapest-you-can-buy-in-the-shops-anywhere brand. If you put two printed sheets of this paper together, you can barely make out that something's printed on the back one and that's good enough for me. I use the paper in a laser printer at the moment and the results are...
