...Fireball XL5
=
What a weird little Sci-Fi program this was but thoroughly enjoyable none the less.
Creator Gerry Anderson wrote and produced this and it lead him on to bigger and better things, Captain Scarlet is one I remember as a child.
Set in the year 2063 and shot mostly in space, we follow the crew of the XL5 as they defend the Earth from various menaces. The Xl5 is a 300ft space ship that patrols sector 25 and defends us from rogue meteors, evil aliens and general baddies.
On board we find the crew consisting of the handsome and dashing Colonel Steve Zodiac, his able side kick, Doctor Venus, Navigating the ship is the super intelligent Professor Matt, oh and one more crew member, a dozy robot called Robert.
Along the way they will fight space battles with alien?s ships and even weirder alien organisms and even...
Advantages: Helps change my outlook positively Disadvantages: Might have to take it forever
...I am on Efexxor XL for a depressive illness I have had for over 5 years.
Effexor XL has helped to change my life as well as other contributing factors, but without it I would probably be in hospital.
I am on a dose of 225mg which is a very high dose of the medication and the usual dose is 1 75mg tablet once a day. I have tried to take myself off this medication and I really would not recommend this at all. No matter what your circumstances are you must always consult a GP before you come off this medictation or any medication for that matter.
I decided that I was better and thinking so I thought I would gradually lower the dose so I cut it down to 150mg a day without any advise. After a few days I found myself sinking into that hole again and after a month I finally told my Nurse what I had done. She immediately told me to...

Review of Effexor XL
Advantages: Large Screen, easy to follow, clear display Disadvantages: battery life
...The Tom Tom ONE XL Europe is one of the easiest car navigation devices to use. It is mostly self explainatry but if you are unsure how to use it, the manual is very specific and very easy to understand. In my opinion the actual software that is installed on it is excellent. When driving, it is easy to follow all of the instruction that are being said by the automated voice. The one concern with this product is the very short battery life and sometimes, when it has been previously been connected to the computer to install updates, the system gets stuck and freezes. It has to be reset for it to function properly again and then it takes up to ten minutes!! There are many options that you can choose when planning your route so you drive the route that is most suitable for you. Other than the one disadvantage, it is a very good car navigation...
Advantages: The Funniest Man in His Funniest Show Disadvantages: None
...'s play Endgame alongside Michael Gambon at Londons Albery Theatre, and starred with Richard Dreyfuss as Leo Bloom in Mel Brooks' The Producers at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane.
In 2005, Lee Evans returned to Stand up comedy, visiting major cities across the country, doing Britain's largest arena comedy tour "XL"
All stand up for "XL"
XL is Lee Evans' sixth live Video/DVD, and I would have to say that it is his funniest to date. It is hilarious, my boyfriend, his family and I were rolling around the living room laughing when we watched it. It was even funnier than when we saw him live, probably because we could hear it better.
Filmed in Cardiff, where the "Evans'" family originated, the atmosphere is electric as Evans' takes the crowd by storm with his superb comedy talent. This man is a pure comedy genius...
...Fireball XL5
I had vague memories of this from when I was a child (I was born 1964) and so I guess must have watched repeats but watching the DVDs brought the series back clearly.
Fireball XL5 was the fore runner of Stingray, Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds.
This was on tv in 1962, and Contained 39 episode.
Synopsis:
Set one hundred years into the future, it is the year 2063, and the 300ft spaceship, fireball XL5 is out in space protecting sector 25.
Aboard the spaceship is colonel Steve Zodiac, the sexy blonde doctor Venus and the transparent robot called Robert.
At the end of most missions Robert the Robot would announce his catchphrase, "on our way 'ome", due to his inability to pronounce the letter 'H'.
Also aboard was Professor Matt who was a navigation mathematics genius, who had his own navigation bay on the ship...
Advantages: Easy to use for beginner, built in 16:9 field of view Disadvantages: Heavy in prolonged use (3.545Kg), quite short battery life
...Canon suggests that the XL2 provides "unprecedented flexibility" for the digital camcorder user. So, how good is the XL2?
Straight out of the box the camera seems impressive. The build quality is good and each camera component feels strong and well built.
The supplied user manual leads you through the step-by-step assembly of the camera although some of the stages are not explained very clearly. However, the connection of each of the camera's components to the main body is very logical and could be undertaken without using the manual.
Once assembled the camera does feel quite heavy with the centre of gravity leaning slightly towards the front of the camera. Initially this is not a problem but with prolonged hand-held use the camera can start to feel a little too heavy.
The camera provides 3 1/3" progressive CCD sensors...
Advantages: It keeps you on a relatively even keel Disadvantages: Obviously it is a mind altering drug which is not ideal
...I was diagnosed as suffering from depression about a year ago after some problems in my life.
I was put into hospital for a few weeks after an overdose where they put me on Prozac. I was up and down like a yoyo.
When I moved back to my home in Leicestershire after about 2 months, my doctor changed me onto Effexor XL, taken twice a day. I can't say that the change was instant or miraculous, but after a couple of weeks, my mood seemed to level out.
Instead of being perfectly happy one moment and overdosing an hour later, I became much more stable. It doesn't make you happy, or take away the depression, but I found that I was able to function more like a normal human being.
Apparently Effexor XL is modified release to keep you more stable, and I would recommend it....

I bought this Tom Tom as every time I have to go somewhere that I'm not familiar with I get lost!
It cost me £299, which is a lot of money, but as it has the speed camera's on it, it helps me keep a clean licence, so to me its well worth the money. You can get them cheaper if you don't want the camera's on it, but as this was a treat to me I...
Advantages: Pc on your TV, Blu-Ray, High Def, 2 Tuners, Good Spec Components Disadvantages: Size of Unit, Price, Not Simple to Set-Up, Power Hungry
...Welcome to my review of the Sony VGX-XL302 Media Centre PC.
This review will take about 20 minutes to read. I only write in depth reviews, so that you are fully prepared before you decide to buy one. I will be telling you what its capabilities are, what my personal feelings about it are, where I bought mine and what service I received and a host of other info which should help you when deciding to purchase.
Before you read on, this system is at its best when used with a High-Definition TV. Whilst it will work with standard definition TV's you will be paying for equipment that you won't be using. However, if you plan to upgrade your TV in the future, then this system will 'grow' into any other appliances you may purchase in the future.
I purchased my machine from a Sony Centre (The Galleries, Broadmead, Bristol), and whilst...

Review of Sony Vaio VGX-XL302
Advantages: tough, long memory time, good features. Disadvantages: expensive and highly specific function.
...I have been using a boss RC-20XL for about a year now and I must say I have found it a usefull and dynamic little piece of kit, but then when shops are asking around £160 for something it had better be usefull and a whole lot more to boot. I mainly use this when messing around with song ideas at home but I have used it at small university gigs and I can say that I haven't ever had any problems with it in the time that I've had it. Knowing its a Boss pedal is reasuring to me because I've had other old Boss pedals in the past and they have lasted forever. Basically this pedal acts as a Phrase recorder/Loop station allowing you to record a loop and then overdub your previous sound to begin building up layers into what can be an almost orchestral effect live on stage with only one guitar which is a pretty inpressive effect. There is...
