Fujifilm FinePix A345 - great value for money
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
knittingdolphin
Advantages: affordable, compact, great mage quality
Disadvantages: sometimes blurry when dropped or shaken
...I first got this camera as a present, but due to my own inability to look after anything I have it didn't last too long. But back to the product.
I got my (second) Fujifilm FinePix A345 from their website, refurbished for £35 which is an incredibly good deal. I am a great fan of these cameras because they are affordable as well as being stylish, easy to use and they produce great quality photographs.
These cameras are perfect if you want an everyday camera to rake around with you. Compact in size, they can slot into the tiniest of handbags, and the wrist strap means you can carry it round with ease. I wouldnt say I know a lot about mega pixels are any of the camera terminology but the A345 produces clear photographs with a great colour contrast. The zoom is very good, I personally got some pretty cool close up photos of a rugby...

Fuji A345 for under £40?! - all explained.......
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
pb2007
Advantages: design, viewfinder, style, image quality, value
Disadvantages: small screen, fiddly zoom
...I bought my Fujifilm A345 digital camera, about a year ago. I bought mine refurshed, via the Fujifilm website, were, now they sell for under £40!! (Search for their site on google) I have enjoyed taking hundreds of photos with it. The photo quality, is great especially when on, "fine," mode. Unlike other digital cameras, where the picture can be, dull and flat; the Fuji, picks up , more natural, vibrant colours. Although you may think of it as, "old-tech," the A345, as well as a 1.7 inch screen, has a conventional viewfinder. This proves to be very useful; it saves on battery life, (if you switch the screen off too), and is much easier to use in bright light, or tight spots. Something to be wary of, though, is the fact that not all of the image that you take is displayed, either through the viewfinder, or the display. This can be awkward...

Great Photos, Great Price
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
tac20
Advantages: Affordable, Great photos
Disadvantages: Takes AA batteries, Poor sound quality
...I received my first Fujifilm Finepix A345 camera for Christmas about a year and a half ago. It was my very first digital camera and it really revolutionised the way I took photos. Up until then I'd been using an ancient 35mm camera which involved a process of winding on by hand and then waiting for the flash to charge before I took every photo. Worse than that - when I reached the end of the film I had to rewidn the whole thing by hand and using a complictaed system of holding down a button on the bottom of the camera whilst winding the spool from the top.
So receiving this camera as a present was amazing. Its not a particularly advanced model and is marketed as a point-and-shoot camera, but it does the job and actually takes some pretty good photos. So before I start talking about my personal experience of using this camera I...

My lovely 345 DL
Review of Volvo 340 by
stuartj1256
Advantages: Cheap car to buy these days Book price less than £1500
Disadvantages: may need new carbouretta or other improvements to make it run
...About four years ago I bought a Volvo 345 DL a 1.7 Litre hatchback, It needed new suspension bushes anew clutch and a new Carbouretta to get it running right but once it was running I could bet 36 mpg out of it (6 or 7 Miles per litre) thats pretty good or a 13 year old car. The style of car i bought was the plastic seat and no frills type and so I cannot comment on these but with a conventional heater system I was perfectly alright.
Driving the car was great once I did the carbouretta replacement with the above mpg it would overtake great and for a small style of car it was not to small car(and I'm a six footer) but driving it in small areas was great. The interior was as mentioned not special but it was big enough to do a lot I moved a large house contents into a small bungalow in a short number of trips and did a grass cutting job...

Snap Away....
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
amy_247
Advantages: Picture quality good, easy to use, lots of different settings
Disadvantages: Comes with a 16mb flash card, takes AA batteries
...--= The story =--
I purchased this camera not so long ago, when I set out looking I kept it in my mind that I wanted a camera that would hold a lot of photos as well as the pictures being good quality. All the other cameras on sale were quite expensive makes like Sony, Kodak, ect. I then came across Fujifilm finepix A345… and with Fujifilm being a well known but affordable make, I had a fair idea it would be reliable.
-= The product =-
The camera has three different modes, picture mode, movie mode and playback mode.
Picture mode, the obvious, to take pictures, movie mode, capture movies of 15 frames per second with sound and playback mode to view pictures/movies, trim and edit photos, view photos as a slideshow. The quality of pictures taken on the camera is 4.1 mega pixels, which you could say is rather low , with all the top...

Snap Happy
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
dannyjb123
Advantages: Easy to use, robust
Disadvantages: Poor battery life
...The Fujifilm FinePix A345 is a camera that would be suited to those who are either new to digital photography or those who want a camera that will take a decent picture for a reasonable price.
The camera itself comes in the usual silver colour and has a large screen which is of a good quality for a camera of this price. Included in the package are the lead to connect the camera to a PC and a small capacity memory card and a wrist strap.
The camera feels like a solid little unit and seems like it would stand up to reasonable wear and tear and possibly survive a few good drops!
The camera is very easy to use and a beginner should be able to point and snap without too much trouble.
The picture quality is good day or night
The A345 has the capability of taking video clips and these are generally of good quality, although...

Your music goes on and on and on and...
Review of Goodman CDMP 345 by
Coldplayer
Advantages: Cheap and lots of little accessories.
Disadvantages: Not stylish and sometimes skips.
...Have you ever wondered what you get when you mix a personal CD player with the mp3 format? Well, you end up with the Goodmans CDMP 345. Not only does it play all your normal CDs(including 3" CDs) but it also plays CDs that have mp3 files on. Now, as mp3(MPEG 1, layer 3) files are a lot smaller than cda(format on normal CDs) files you can fit many more of your music tracks on a CD. This means instead of just 80 mins of audio you can squeeze about 7 to 8 hours of non-stop music onto a CD in mp3 format. The number of mp3 files you can put on a CD will vary as they can be of different qualities (i.e higher bit-rate=higher quality=larger files and lower bit-rate vice-versa). Anyway a little more on the MP3 player itself.
It currently retails at the time of writing- £49.99 in Index. The player comes in silver and purple with all...

More music to your ears
Review of Goodman CDMP 345 by
goodematthew
Advantages: More music to a CD and more choice of music.
Disadvantages: Looks ugly.
...If you are like me you will have a very large CD collection and perhaps a wad of MP3s on your hard drive. Since having bought a CD burner drive I have been able to make my own music compilation CDs, however I hate having to change the CD to hear more music. Now a conventional MP3 player usually carries up to 64 MB of music, therefore still not giving me brilliant scope for music. It was for this reason I compromised convenience of size for hours of music. Having looked at all the CD MP3 players, I chose the Goodmans CDMP 345.
APPEARANCE AND ERGONOMICS
The first impressions of the unit are not brilliant I have to say, as the purple/silver fascia is not exactly my cup of tea. The actual unit also a bit chunky for my liking! However, the buttons are easily set out so changing the track can be done comfortably. The CD opening catch...

Top quality & Value
Review of Fujifilm FinePix A345 by
duck1979
Advantages: quality pictures, takes videos with full audio sound, idiot proof
Disadvantages: battery life (with standard batteries at least)
...Back in the old days (we're probably talking about mid 1960's to the early 1980's), if you wanted a small 35mm camera that was as fully featured & gave as good a quality results as one of the larger SLR jobbies, your only real serious choice was the Rollei 35 range (look it up on Google if you've never heard of them).
These days, you have a much greater choice thanks to the invention of the digital camera..... and this Fuji A345 is no exception.
Like the old Rollei, it's small & compact and loaded with similar features...... but it also has a few new tricks up it's sleeves.
Just like the Rollei, you can zoom in & out on stuff...... but unlike the Rollei and more like a traditional SLR camera thanks to the bright LCD screen on the back you can see exactly what the lens see's (although it can be a bit awkward in bright sunlight...
