My dream of a Puma became.... a Yaris

Advantages: Fuel efficient, cheap on insurance and road tax. Good all round car for a small family or anyone who likes to be that little bit different.
Disadvantages: I really cannot fault this car.

Advantages: Great fuel consumption and ideal for cities

...In my opinion the Toyota Yaris is an excellent car for many reasons. Firstly it is a trusted brand and historically make very safe cars. The yaris is an excellent car for day to day driving and ocassional long drive. Although is it a small car, you can still fit five passengers without too much of a squeeze. The boot is admittedly a bit small in length but it makes up for this a little bit by being quite deep. In short it is fine for going food shopping with as long as you remember to put the 'soft' food on top! As well as goldy brown like the picture shows, the car can come in navy blue as well. One of my favourite features of the car is the digital speedometer display which includes a petrol bar symbol. Yaris T Sport

Advantages: Quieter cab at speed. Roomy for 5 adults.
Disadvantages: Longer than average delivery.

...August. Time to trade in my Yaris GS. What to buy? I'd heard about the T Sport- top of the range Yaris model. Not a real hot hatch but coming fairly close. Down to the dealer, and there was a metallic black shiny new T Sport. I had to look. The interior is set out in much the same way as the GS. Centrally placed dashboard, but this time, sports dials instead of the digital display. Racy type seats,moulded, all in black. CD player, sunroof and for those few days of summer, air conditioning. The car has racing grill, foglights and the T Sport logo on the front. Locking wheels nuts give that extra sporty look with rear spolier. Yaris 1.3 CDX Auto now called T-Spirit

Advantages: Comfortable, good ride, strong engine, reliable, well equipped, economical
Disadvantages: Small boot, plasticky inside, no intermittent mode for rear wiper

...We researched the small automatic car market for many months before finally purchasing this Yaris 1.3 Auto CDX through a car supermarket (Motorpoint), and thus saving approximately £2400 on main dealer prices. While the Yaris has been around for a few years now it holds its own still in the supermini market. Recent revisions haven't improved the rather grey plasticky inside, and the outside has had minor alterations to the lights and bumpers, but it still looks good. While the Honda Jazz may be better built and have more room (and the CVT 'box is great!), and the new Nissan Micra more interesting inside and out, the Yaris still sells well because its well equipped and projects a sense of quality. ...The toyota yaris is a superb small compacted car. it is cheap on insurance and ideal for a women do run. I bought my yaris 3 years ago and began with a 1.0 engine. I found this to be very slow on the motorway at picking up its speed, because of his I changed to a 1.3. I am very happy with tis car. The fuel consumption is 48 miles to the gallon . i do a lot of motorway travelling and it is light to drive. the car comes with Airbag, Anti-locking brakes and built in immobiliser. It cruises at 80 with no problem whatsoever, the speed dials and milage are in digital and look to be miles away. this adds a touch of class to the inside of the car. The cd player has an extension on the steering wheel which makes changing tracks easy without distraction away from the road. Yaris is THE car of the Millennium

...My mum was given a Yaris by my dad just over a year ago. At the time, we hadn't heard of such a car, but now, we'd never go back. My mum uses the car for many short journeys, as mums do (!!!) and it has been superb. It runs smoothly, has not gone wrong, and we have had excellent service. About a month after we got the car, the clock was slightly off, and about a week after that, we got a letter saying that all Yaris' had been re-called, to have new clocks fitted as they were faulty. We got given a bottle of champagne for the 'in-convenience' and some vouchers for a supermarket. The car could not be better. We have a silver one with matching bumpers, and it looks very sleek. ...I bought my Yaris when it was first launched in 1999. I was searching for a car that was cheap, nice to drive, small and pretty in appearance, (well....I AM a woman..!!). From the moment I saw it in the showroom I was totally in love and driving it just added to my desire to own it. The dash display was the most amazing thing I had ever seen and I impressed my friends with it's position and novelty value. Well...not such a novelty value as I owned my yaris for 5 years and the electricals never failed. In fact NOTHING ever failed on the car. For five years I drove my cute little car all over the UK and even undertook the 700 mile journey to my parents in Scotland in it. The Yaris: My much loved first car!

Advantages: Nippy little town car which holds its own on the motorway too!

DRIVING My favorite driving feature is that it is very easy to pull away quickly when needed, for example, at roundabouts and traffic lights. It holds its own against all the bigger cars.
