AdvantagesWell made and durable. Good for beginners - easy to play with good intonation

DisadvantagesFactory made, so lacks the individual tone of those hand made saxes (eg selmers), and the tone is obviously not as rich as professional models

.... The YAS-23 is no longer made, and was superceded first by the YAS-25, and then this was replaced with the YAS-275. My favourite of the three is the 25, because I find this has the nicest tone, and i also find the keywork design is best on this, although the 275 does have improved intonation.
