...After our bad experience with Yes Car Credit I wanted to let everyone else know. Through some fault of ours and the fault of others our credit score was really low and we were having problems getting a car. We badly needed a car as we had a baby and we needed to ferry him about to babysitters so we could work. Yes Car Credit are a company that specialise in dealing with people who have a low credit score or no credit score at all, they have their own finance company and do not have credit checks that is why they are able to offer finance plus the fact that they charge an over the rate 29.9% APR. They are not a showroom you do not get to pick the car you want, they tell you what car you can have, they give you 2 cars to choose from, the cars are all bought from car auctions so anything can be wrong with them, they have their own...

Oh how i wish i had found this site before i purchased from Yes car credit, unfortunately i was unable to get credit to buy a car due to a bad credit history i had aquired when i got divorced. Dec 03 I purchased a car from Yes Car Credit (YCC hereafter), and was pleasently suprised when they phoned me up and said 'we are pleased to accept your application'. At only 19 years old (18 at the time) I was vunerable, and just excited about getting a new car after passing my driving test. As you will read in other reviews, the customer service was rubbish, but unlike others I was in the Portsmouth Showroom from 1000hrs until 1730hrs. Not impressed! Anyway, drove my car out the showroom after part exchanging my vehicle for a mere £10! - Not that they tell you how much they are giving you for it, but in the heat of the day, you forget about the old car and focus on your new same day drive away one! ...Yes car credit, more like ?here?s a duff car credit?. I can?t express my thorough disappointment in Yes Car Credit (YCC from her on in). It would make my day for someone from YCC to read this and respond because I have had enough of trying to call them. I would strongly advise anyone to think seriously about buying a car from this company. It all seemed so perfectly easy and such a brilliant idea for people such as my fiancée and myself. Being a little strapped for immediate cash, owning a Peugeot GTI which I hated, and trying to save diligently for our wedding this was as if someone had handed an unmissable opportunity to us. Richard, my other half, had heard of YCC on the TV and had crumbled to my gripes on the clutch problem our GTI had. ...I am a sucker. I must be, as I bought a car from YCC. I had a Peugeot 405 estate which was dying. It needed a lot of work to be done to bring it to a useable state and as I was getting married in a couple of months, I could not afford to get the work done. I remember the adverts (where they promise that "Yes, You Can" get a car on credit.) Now I have had credit problems in the past and thought that I wouldn't. However, I made the call and was surprised when I got the credit needed to get a new car. Yipee! It all started well. I asked my dad to come along and we went along to the Bristol branch. I must state at this point that I thought that the problems I had were just limited to Bristol (but now I see that they are not). ...About a year and a half ago we needed a new car and after applying at one or two places we were turned down. We decided to go and find somewhere else that would take us. Due to disability we had got into a pickle and my hubby was issued with a ccj which was paid off. But it still was on his credit file. The television adverts were the first place we saw Yes Car Credit. So I decided to look into this further. It took people with bad credit and we could drive out with a car the same day. Marvellous I thought so I sat down with hubby and told him all about it. Fine he said look into it more. I visited the website and all that had on it was we say yes... and an online application form. So I filled in all the bits and pieces and it came back saying we had been accepted and we would get a telephone call soon. A couple of hours...

Yes Car Credit - Deposit Kept Going Up

Advantages: friendly , understand low credit rating market
Disadvantages: not as honest as they could or should be

...As an update to my preivous review I recently acquired a price list for all the cars from YCCs Glasgow office. All the cars were at least £1000 over the book price or list price in a main dealer. It is important to remember how this impacts your ability to get out of the deal in the future by trading the car in and effectively means you are paying another £1000 in interest on top of already high rates. Look I understand anyone thinking of using these guys are probably already at the end of a bad credit road but this really isn't the answer. Make sure you have considered EVERY option before using them. Most main dealers can now opt to apply through divisions of mainstream finance companies to get you credit albeit at a slightly higher interest rate. But at least you still get to buy the car you want at a reasonable price. I...
