...Dora the explorer is a family favourite. My Daughter is a big fan of the TV show, and Mummy and Daddy don't hate it. So, Dora is always an option when it comes to buying presents. I was looking for a birthday present for my daughter for her fourth birthday, I wanted something she wouldn't play with once then not be bothered with any more, something educational and of course, something that was fun. Browsing the Argos catalogue I came across Dora The Explorer's Adventure game, and it piqued my interest. Suitable for children aged three and up, and only £9.99, which I thought sounded good value for a board game that would hopefully, last for a good few years and get played often. Advantages: Tasty, fun, simple
Disadvantages: A cake so it's not healthy, very sugary

...I often do some baking with some of my friends kids and because they are very young I find that it is very difficult to try and get them to weigh out ingredients and they often get it very wrong so it is easier to just use a pre-weighed kit with everything you need in it. My favourite brand of cake making kits is Green's because they are very cheap and great quality, also I often buy their Lemon Meringue Pie Kit which is always good quality. They basically make, quick simple and easy baking aids for many different levels of cooking skills. I really trust the brand and have never had a problem with them so far. This time we decided to try Green's Dora The Explorer Vanilla Flavour Cake which sounded quite nice and the idea of Dora The Explorer went down pretty well. ...my 4 year old daughter loves the backyardigans and uniqua is her favourite character maybe because she is pink ,as that is her favourite colour.she is bright pink with polka dots. she will always sit and watch the tv shows all the way through.the voices though do get on my nerves a bit..lol only had this a few days and so far is proving to be one of her favourite toys .uniqua cost me £19.99 from mail order express. also available from the entertainer toy shop website where these also are being sold for £19.99. i only came across these sing and explore characters while browsing for a birthday present for my nephew on mail order express and i saw it and had to buy it. i havent seen these in shops like tesco or woolworths yet . not too keen on the idea of surface washing as i find i cant always clean these types of toys... ...INTERNET EXPLORER When I first bought this computer, I was unsure of anything internet related and a complete idiot as far as technology goes. Little by little, I have gained confidence and experimented and although I despise the fact that Microsoft have made so much money from their products and made it very difficult for their competitors, I believe that somewhere along the line, they did get some things right. Internet Explorer is one of those things. ...I found out about MSN Explorer from friends who are very familiar with computers and the Internet. I am very glad now that I took their advice and downloaded the software. MSN Explorer is a very different type of browser. It runs alongside, MSN Messenger and Hotmail. Both of these products are included n the software. There is a easy use toolbar with, Home, E-mail, Online Buddies, People & Chat, Money, Shopping and Music buttons. The buttons take you quickly to where you want to go on the MSN web network. It is very handy and easy to use. However, there is a problem, MSN Explorer is designed from use in the USA. You can still use it if you come from UK, but the Money and Shopping buttons have no real use (you are taken to American Sites). But I still believe that this browser is better than Internet Explorer and other common browsers.... Read review

...Why Microsoft would release another web browser when they already have a quite competent product on the market (in the form of Internet Explorer) was beyond me so I though I would download MSN Explorer and see what its all about. The answer turned out to be quite simple. MSN Explorer is simply Internet Explorer integrated with other Microsoft services such as Hotmail. They haven’t had to do much development on it because it is just Internet Explorer with a different front end and it provides Microsoft with an excellent marketing tool for its other services. MSN Explorer provided a very colourful interface that can be customised to your tastes. If you use Hotmail and MSN a lot then you will probably prefer this to Internet Explorer.
