To gain the gold card, you need to spend a certain amount of money in one month (figure changes from time to time), this must be in 1 statement month and you will be automaticly upgraded. With a gold card, the main bonuses are entitled to 10% off of food in thier resturants, Shopping assistance, lounge with free tea or coffee and much more. The best time for this upgrade in my opnion would be at christmas, where you get other people to give you the cash and put it on your card, in which way they get what they want and it goes towards your spending need to get the gold card. Overall this is a good card if kept in check and have the cash at hand when used, but if a balance is kept on this card it will cost you dearly....

...on your purchases and ideally the best way to manage your card if to pay of the balance in full when it comes through to save any interest being added onto the card as interest is normally charged at around 28% APR on this particular store card. The issuer's of the card will also issue you with a pin number as you are able to have cash back from any Link cash machine if that is what you require, however its one way of diggng yourself into a hole if you start obtaining cash back from the card so not a wise move. All purchase in store have to be signed for instead of using the pin number, as the cards themselves are not chip and pin, just authorised by signature. They are a great card to have if you enjoy this store as much as I do!...

Advantages: Free, easy to accumulate, good bonuses
Disadvantages: Poor website section for tracing card points

This is definitely an advantage as it means you can essentially get a discount rather than having to save for the full value of a book. - Overall - Advantages + Free, quick to accumulate if you take advantage of the special offers + Can be redeemed as part payment against a purchase + Good cardholder exclusive offers and bonuses Disadvantages - Although the website allows you to see points accumulated in store purchases, there doesn't appear to be a way to view how all of the points on your card (through online and store transactions) have been accumulated - Bonus points accumulated through special offers (e.g. triple points when ordering online) are not added immediately, the correct amount of points seem to be added first with bonus points added later. ...the house of fraser store card is curretly the best on the market it has the most rewards each time you spend for example collecting points which add up toward vouchers which can be redeamed at any time. the poins quickly add up as every pound you spend you get 3 points and as soon as you reach 1500 points you het a £15 gift voucher. there are always new exclusive offers for card holders only, for example after the seasonal sales card holder and only card holders are eligable for an extra 20% off the sale price, other offers include certain weekends where you can receive between 10 and 20% off your bill with many consessions inclooded, the typical APR is arround 19.9% which works out arround 1.5% interest per month but your first 3 months are free....

...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
