...I purchased a white version of the Samsung YP-U3 1GB mp3 for my technophobe friend a couple of weels ago and must say it is an extremely cool bit of kit. It arrived in a small plastic box which was extremely well presented and fit through my letter box perfectly. There is no seperate USB cable as the USB attachment is built into the player which slots out easily to connect to the pc. Synchronising music on the player is also a piece of cake and after an hour or so I had the device pre-loaded with all my friend's favourite music. It also has a built in FM tuner which works fairly well in picking up stations. The functions on the player are very easy to use with touch sensitive controls and the blue backlit LCD screen tells you everything you need to know. ...How much memory does your mp3 player have? 1GB, 2GB? Did you pay more than £65 for it? If the answer to any of these questions is yes then you have been duped, drawn in my the marketing blurb of the huge multinationals and missed out on the Samsung YP-U3 4GB which at £65 comes in as the best mp3 player I have owned or had the pleasure to use. Available in 3 sizes, the Samsung YP-U3 is priced at £35, £50 and £65 for the 1, 2 and 4GB models respectively and while the smaller memory models are available in a range of bright and funky colours, the 4GB model which I opted for is like a Model T Ford, available in any colour as long as it is black. Like other mp3 players songs are downloaded from various online stores such as Napster and CDs can be burnt onto the memory. One very minor niggle is that iTunes isn't compatible with the YP-U3... ...An absolutely brilliant Mp3 player that i carry everywhere with me. In fact i'm going to take it with me today when i go to play footie with my friends. I'm tired of Ipod owners thinking that their overpriced possession with lmited appeal is the best Mp3 and video player on the market, simly because it is the thing of the moment. The Samsung YP-U3 1GB is a highly portable, reliable and stylish player that is just as great as the better known Mp3 players, but at a reasonable price for this utility. ...I had gone for several years without a USB stick at all, and I finally came to a point in my life where I required several for distributing a project I was working on. I had a look around for reasonably priced 4Gb USB sticks and I stumbled upon the SanDisk Cruzer Micro U3. I had recalled reading about U3 devices awhile back so I was quite interested to find out what they were. I discovered that U3 devices pretend to have a CD drive inside them so when you plug in the device it will install its drivers (as with any usb stick) and then it has the ability to autorun software. The software that comes with the USB stick allows certain programs to be installed on the stick, this is very useful as you can run programs and keep your settings saved on your usb stick so that they are not lost from computer to computer. ...I had decided to buy a new MP3 player as my iPod was constantly corrupting and costing me a fortune in repairs. I am fairly vain and so I wanted a stylish MP3 player that had both a large range of features, exceeding good looks, but one that was also affordable. I had been hunting round the shops for a little while and still nothing really caught my eye. ...I recently decided to get a new mp3 player as i had the ipod mini which broke and then the ipod nano which also broke so i decided to move on to naother brand..which is how i cam to buy the samsung YP - Z5. This mp3 has everything you could want on an mp3 player. it looks great. it is a thin design. Comes in a range of colours which i believe are black, silver, and pink, and maybe white. It has a large screen far bigger than ipods have and has a brightly coloured screen. you can also persnoalise the background which also helps it suit the requirements.It has the hold button on the top of the mp3 which you can switch to once it is off. The headphone socket is also situated at the top of the mp3. The volume buttons to turn it up and down are on the right hand side of the mp3 and fit in quite well there. The directional buttons... ...The samsung ypu2 rxb mp3 player is a fantastic mp3 player which has great looks and features and a better then average sound quality . The looks The samsung yp u2 mp3 player has great looks . It is quite slim and has a nice shiny black colour and it has a glass usb cover which has a light in so when you are listening to music it will flash blue which is really cool . When i bought this it was in argos for about £30 but he picture in the argos catalog didnt look as nice as it really looks in good life . It is one of those things that doesnt look really good in pictures byt looks good in real life . The price This mp3 player is not that new anymore so it will probarly be for about £20 which is really good value for your money as it is a really good product . ...This product has been a part of me for 4 years now ever since it came out, as it is now able to be bought at a low price of around £40 this is a must for anyone looking for a competitive product. I thought that this product would be overtake in technology by now bu it appears not. With its strong aluminum casing, this model will not break in your pocket, even after bieng thrown against a wall this is a safe bet. With a long lifespan (in years) and excellent earphones (3.5mm) you cant not get it. Suprisingly this roduct was missed by most people when it first came out so you can be sure that unlike the ipod not everyone will have the same model as you. As the yp-z5 can do everything a £100 pound ipod can, and more, dont waste your time on anything else. Ofcourse i can fit about 500 songs on here aswell as any documents... Read review
