Yves Saint Laurent Exfoliator

Advantages: I like the look of the tube

...I bought some Yves Saint Laurent products a while ago and I got this 'YSL Instant Pure Natural Action Exfoliator' for free. The tube I got was a 15ml sample size. It looks exactly like the larger tube, just in a smaller size. The tube is a really simple design. It is made from quite rubbery, see through white plastic which is really easy to squeeze and makes it easy to get the liquid out. At the top of the tube it has 'INSTANT PUR' in black letters and then it has the name of the exfoliator in French, and then in English 'Natural Action Exfoliator Granule Free' and then at the bottom of the tube 'Yves Saint Laurent' The tube has a white plastic screw top, which means that you get it all sticky when you try to close it after you have applied the exfoliator! This particular exfoliator is granule free. For me this kind of ruins...

Yves Saint Laurent Cinema Body Lotion

Advantages: Smells divine! Nice design

...The perfume Cinema from YSL is one of my favourite perfumes so I thought I would buy the body lotion to match it. The smell of this is just absolutely lovely, exactly the same as the perfume. It has a good long shelf like of 15 months so it is ok if you don't use it everyday as it will keep. The design of the bottle is really attractive and simple. It is a pure white plastic rectangular shape with the words 'Cinema' written across the front in gold letters and 'Yves Saint Laurent' written across the bottom of the bottle. The bottle comes in a 200ml size and costs £28 from Debenhams. You can find it in a few of the high street shops such as Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis, and it is widely available on the internet, so it is not hard to get a hold of. Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme Concentrate Cologne **PURE CLASSY**

Advantages: Good Value and super classy smell, not too strong but will be noticeable.

I was in the department store with a close buddy who was looking for D&G cologne, when the ever so clever and informative sales lady persuaded us to take a closer look at YSL. The marketing of YSL was not as strong as the other brands at the counter so I didn?t notice this silent but venomous killer scent. One whiff and my perfume life would never be the same. The sweet and sexy smell seeped deep into my heart, and thank God not my pocket book. Good value for an exceptional and classy cologne. ...I have used L'oreals touche magique concealer for many years, but decided to try Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Highlighter as a lot of people have said how good it is. When I first applied it, it did not seem to cover up dark circles half as good as the concealer I currently use. The packaging and pen its self does look good, it is very easy to apply and does look better compared to not wearing any concealer or highlighter at all. This product in my opinion is poor value for money, compared to other products on the market, that do a much better job of concealing and highlighting that are half the price. I believe that you are paying for the name rather than the quality of the product....

...I thought I'd summarise first: top of the range concealer, expensive but worth it, outstanding product. ******** This excellent product has been recommended to me over and over by friends, colleagues and clients (I'm a beauty therapist). It's very pricey - around £20 - but many beauticians and make up artists rate it as their number one make up item. In a rather elegant gold 'pen' style dispenser, Touche Eclat is a very lightweight concealer which is particularly helpful around the eye area. When it was first introducted, Yves Saint Laurent ran out regularly and it was only obtainable via a waiting list. I had tried loads of products to get rid of dark circles around my eyes which made me look like I needed a good night's sleep. Most are too heavy, drag the skin and wear off quickly...
