...Yves Saint Laurent is still a pretty fashionable brand but Kouros is a little out of date, unless you are a 45 year old bloke with 2 kids and mortgage troubles (AKA my dad). My dad gets a bottle of Kouros each year (Christmas pressie) and loves the stuff. The aftershave comes in a tall white bottle with an easy-to-undo cap that is lined with silver. The container itself does look pretty stylish and modern and is functional. This is certainly an aftershave for the older man. The smell, although it is virtually impossible to describe a smell, is original but not as sharp as more modern aftershaves. Things like Hugo Boss or Burberry have very ‘fresh’ and sharp smells however Kouros is more subtle and musky and powerful. It is an aftershave for all occasions and probably not the sort of thing you would wear if you are going out... Read review

...to be the only association with most colognes. It is just plain nice! The Look Well, to me that is hardly important. It is mostly the smell you want. But, I guess it WOULD aid a new buyer in finding what they are looking for. The box is dark navy blue (nearly black), with a white border like design that is outlined in shiny silver. The word KOUROS is written in caps across the middle, also in white with silver outline. Across the bottom is the size and weight written in silver, then a silver underline that goes the width of the box, and under that is the name brand Yves Saint Laurent in logo style writing also in silver. On the bottom side of the box it informs you amongst other various, non-necessary information, that this is a product that was made in Paris, France (as a LOT of the best parfumes/colognes are!) ...I wanted to give my opinion on Kouros even though i don't wear it.You see i am a woman so i haven't worn kouros, but i have bought it for my husband.I remember in my youth all the boys used to smell of either brut or insignia, and then my father while away on holidays bought back something called Kouros,shortly after this i moved away to england to live. It was while living in england, and in a party one night that i first smelt Kouros, and i have to say that as soon as one whiff hit my nostrils i was in love.Not with the person wearing it, but with the aftershave itself.At the time i had never smelt anything like it before it was a grown up fragrance.Which to me said i am a man. ...I bought some Yves Saint Laurent products a while ago and I got this 'YSL Instant Pure Natural Action Exfoliator' for free. The tube I got was a 15ml sample size. It looks exactly like the larger tube, just in a smaller size. The tube is a really simple design. It is made from quite rubbery, see through white plastic which is really easy to squeeze and makes it easy to get the liquid out. At the top of the tube it has 'INSTANT PUR' in black letters and then it has the name of the exfoliator in French, and then in English 'Natural Action Exfoliator Granule Free' and then at the bottom of the tube 'Yves Saint Laurent' The tube has a white plastic screw top, which means that you get it all sticky when you try to close it after you have applied the exfoliator! This particular exfoliator is granule free. For me this kind of ruins... Read review

...The perfume Cinema from YSL is one of my favourite perfumes so I thought I would buy the body lotion to match it. The smell of this is just absolutely lovely, exactly the same as the perfume. It has a good long shelf like of 15 months so it is ok if you don't use it everyday as it will keep. The design of the bottle is really attractive and simple. It is a pure white plastic rectangular shape with the words 'Cinema' written across the front in gold letters and 'Yves Saint Laurent' written across the bottom of the bottle. The bottle comes in a 200ml size and costs £28 from Debenhams. You can find it in a few of the high street shops such as Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis, and it is widely available on the internet, so it is not hard to get a hold of. ...This has got to be the most sexiest aftershave i have ever had the pleasure of smelling. It is the best present any female could buy her other half for a present, as they won't be disappointed with the results. I often ask Alasdair to go and put it on just to get a whiff of it. It is extremely popular with the men and any man who hasn't tried it yet should go and get some. This is because they give the perfume more staying power and stop the top and middle notes from evaporating from your skin as quickly. The Scent As soon as Yves Saint Laurent Elle is sprayed onto your skin it has quite a sharp fruity/floral aroma which is accompanied by an ever so slight spicy kick which I think makes the scent smell ever so slightly masculine and strong. After a few minutes or so the fragrance dulled down somewhat and didn't smell as sharp and strong as it did when first sprayed, the scent still had the ever so slightly sharp pepper note lingering in the background but it wasn't as sharp and prominent as it previously was. ... 'Y' Perfume by Yves Saint Laurent Y is one of the many perfumes from the range of Yves Saint Laurent. It comes in a plain white box with gold writing and a large Y to the front. The weight on the bottle I have, which is a vaporisateur is 100ml 3.3 fl oz. The bottle is square and the gold push down spray top is a fanned shape. It has a good solid look to it, and is finished off with gold writing to the front. Created in 1964, Y was brought out to represent the haute couture of the house of Yves Saint Laurent. It's a classic fragrance, quite timeless really, and a suitable perfume for day or night I would say. It's light and green, with notes of jasmine. ...atomiser spray to the top. Paris is an incredibly strong fragrance. An intense depth of scent, therefore you really don't need to use too much when applying it. It doesn't fade easily, and after wearing, I can still smell it on my skin the next day. I would say it is a romantic perfume, quite sexy really, there is just something about the notes that makes me keep smelling my wrist when I am wearing it, and breathing it in. It is quite gorgeous. Paris by Yves Saint Laurent was created in 1983. The perfume contains a blend of hyacinth, mimosa, rose, violet, lily of the valley, bergamot, geranium, hawthorn cedar, sandal, heliotrope, and amber.
