Just One Spray

Advantages: very popular, nice smell, great packaging

...Rive Gauche is a very strong perfume and definitely one for the evening. It is by Yves Saint Laurent and is very popular, many people I know wear it. Even after YSL bringing out many new perfumes none seem to beat this one. I have tested out some of the recent ones but still do not like any of them as much as this. Thi perfume could be worn in day but I think it is for night. It comes in different measures but I have the 50ml bottle which is around £26+ I am not too sure. The smell is hard to describe, I would probably describe it as flowery but very strong. You do not need to wear lots of this fragrance so one spritz would be enough. This stays on very well so you do not need a lot on for this reason too. One thing I love about the perfume is the packaging it is very posh and luxurious. Yves Saint Laurent Exfoliator

Advantages: I like the look of the tube
Disadvantages: It didn't exfoliate my skin, expensive

...I bought some Yves Saint Laurent products a while ago and I got this 'YSL Instant Pure Natural Action Exfoliator' for free. The tube I got was a 15ml sample size. It looks exactly like the larger tube, just in a smaller size. The tube is a really simple design. It is made from quite rubbery, see through white plastic which is really easy to squeeze and makes it easy to get the liquid out. At the top of the tube it has 'INSTANT PUR' in black letters and then it has the name of the exfoliator in French, and then in English 'Natural Action Exfoliator Granule Free' and then at the bottom of the tube 'Yves Saint Laurent' The tube has a white plastic screw top, which means that you get it all sticky when you try to close it after you have applied the exfoliator! This particular exfoliator is granule free. For me this kind of ruins...

...If you're looking for a perfume to buy as a present for a lady of any age - then look no further than Rive Gauche by Yves St Laurent. There is a wide range of products from which to choose so you can spend as much or as little as your wallet will allow. The fragrance itself is quite light and not too overpowering so it is equally suitable for wearing during the day or during the evening. It also means that it would be an excellent choice of gift for someone whose tastes you weren't quite sure of. The design of the packaging and the containers holding the perfumes and powders are all a distinctive blue, silver and black, which makes them instantly recognisable as Rive Gauche. Yves Saint Laurent Cinema Body Lotion

Advantages: Smells divine! Nice design
Disadvantages: Can be quite overpowering paired with the perfume, a bit oily

...The perfume Cinema from YSL is one of my favourite perfumes so I thought I would buy the body lotion to match it. The smell of this is just absolutely lovely, exactly the same as the perfume. It has a good long shelf like of 15 months so it is ok if you don't use it everyday as it will keep. The design of the bottle is really attractive and simple. It is a pure white plastic rectangular shape with the words 'Cinema' written across the front in gold letters and 'Yves Saint Laurent' written across the bottom of the bottle. The bottle comes in a 200ml size and costs £28 from Debenhams. You can find it in a few of the high street shops such as Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis, and it is widely available on the internet, so it is not hard to get a hold of. Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme Concentrate Cologne **PURE CLASSY**

Advantages: Good Value and super classy smell, not too strong but will be noticeable.

...YSL Can you say Classy??? Well you better believe I can, although I?m sure it would sound more elegant in the French language. Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme swept me completely off of my feet. I was in the department store with a close buddy who was looking for D&G cologne, when the ever so clever and informative sales lady persuaded us to take a closer look at YSL. The marketing of YSL was not as strong as the other brands at the counter so I didn?t notice this silent but venomous killer scent. One whiff and my perfume life would never be the same. The sweet and sexy smell seeped deep into my heart, and thank God not my pocket book. Good value for an exceptional and classy cologne. Its one of the perfumes you would wear on your wedding day, Yeah, that good....

my favourite

Advantages: smells wonderful and lasts for hours

...I have been using rive gauche for more than 10 yrs and have tried others during that time but have never really found another that i loved as much, it's fragrance is sweet but not overpowering and i find it suits me and i am often told so, people say they love the smell and ask me what it is, then they go out and buy it too. So we can't all be wrong. I also find that certain fragrances can give me headaches too but i have never had one while wearing rive gauche, it also lasts ages. i do however believe that as we all smell differently anyhow it can smell different from one person to another but i would definately recommend it to anyone....
