A to Z of BNibbles
Review of Everything that starts with Z ... by
BNibbles
Advantages: That's a load off my chest
Disadvantages: Now you're lumbered with it instead
...Ask me to name 26 favourite foods, and I’d have no trouble. However, tell me to quantify 26 personal attributes and I’m stuck, forced to bring “things” into the list.
I’m just not that complicated or noteworthy a person, and anyway, “X”, what’s that all about? So, here goes. 26 utterly pointless anecdotes and little known facts to unravel the sad existence of Bnibbles.
A is for….
Amicable, amiable, affable, amenable – you choose. At least I’d like to think I was. Just don’t annoy me when I’m driving. You can do this merely by existing, playing with MY choice of CD, or fiddling with MY heater controls. Another good way to annoy me is to knock me off my......
B is for...
Bicycle. Suddenly out of nowhere, my life revolves around bikes. Buying a folding one (albeit an expensive option) had probably been my best “gadget...

Lexmark Z25 good printer
Review of Lexmark Z 25 Color Jetprinter by
kungfuclown
Advantages: Cheap and small
Disadvantages: cartridges cost quite alot
...The Lexmark Z25
After my old inkjet printer died painfully and expensively it was time for me to purchase another. Being quite naïve I just thought I just though that a printer was a printer. I was really looking for the cheapest printer around and this puppy turned up for £22.50.
I snapped it up and home it came, only to find that it came with the software but no cable to connect it to you computer.
I popped back to the shop bought myself a USB cable connected it all up followed the onscreen prompts to installing the software no problem. Then it come to printing a test sheet and yes you guessed it no print cartridges!
Back to the shop – who don’t sell them off to Office World £24.99 for the black 27.99 for the colour!
So in total
£22.50 = printer
£7.99 = USB cable
£24.99 = black cartridge
£27.99 = colour cartridge...

ben folds five the unique album
Review of Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five by
ryanb
Advantages: this album is like no other
Disadvantages: none
...Ben folds five are an american trio of bass drums and piano. The diversity of ben folds` piano combined with robert sledge`s distorted bass create a unique sound only recognizable as the sound of bf5.
This sel-titled album is their first and best. 12 tracks full of spirit and energy. Presented as though they were in your living room, this c.d. is programmed to perfection.
1)Jackson Canary - The opening track will get you hooked from the start with it`s catch bass riffs and vocals.Ben folds shows the strength of the bass on the piano and also the effect of mixing it with the treble. A perfect opening number.
2)Philosophy - A contrasting opening with an almost irrestible piano melody. This song is a classic showing what they are capable of. From sweet piano to a heavy handed ending as ben does his rendition of `rhapsody in blue...

Ben Folds Five - five stars...
Review of Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five by
icecreamspoon
Advantages: They're alternative, with a twist of lemony fun...mixed in with the piano
Disadvantages: Ben, when live, has a habit of drooling...or thats what I saw anyway
...'Ben Folds Five', quite possibly the most innovative band that walked this earth....to put it in the words of a simpleton...'they're great'.
'Ben Folds Five', a band originating from North Carolina (yes, the US), consists of 3 talented band members - Ben Folds (pianist and overall genius/'the leader of the pack'), Robert Sledge (bass) and finally the drummer (his name i forget - then again though, he is a drummer, how am I supposed to remember!).
They're music, sheer beauty. They're melody being that of a sort of mixture of alternative/piano jazz/soft rock...though my description may sound unappealing to most of you...trust me (and I know you do!),whoever you are, whatever your music taste, you'll love it.
Their debut album (no title), shows straight away, where they're going with this and who they are. The foundations of they...

Fold Away's A Delight
Review of Mothercare Fold Away Bath by
piggypine
Advantages: Folds up small for easy storage. Lightweight.
Disadvantages: Locking handle comes off. PUncture risk if not cared for properly.
...The Mothercare Fold Away Bath is a great space saving idea for people like me who have limited storage space or a smaller house. It is made of a durable white plastic rim, blue plastic fold down legs and an inflatable inner which is made from similar material to paddling pools. Setting up the bath is simple by unfolding the white rim almost like you're opening a card, as you open it fully it will click, locking the centre joins into place ensuring the bath doesn't fold in on itself, the 4 legs are pulled down and also click into locking points ensuring stability and making sure that the bath doesn't tip and spill the water, you can use the bath without inflating the inner section however if you choose to inflate it is much like blowing up rubber rings or beach balls, blowing air into the plastic valves and plugging them closed to keep...

Safety 1st On-the-Go Fold-up Booster Seat
Review of Safety 1st On-the-Go Fold-Up Booster Seat by
FunkyFaulkner
Advantages: Actually two products in one - fantastic value for money
Disadvantages: Bulkier than some travel booster seats but worth it!
...(a.k.a. The Fold and Go Booster Seat)
Silver Winner of the Mother & Baby Best Travel Item 2005/6
I kind of bought this product in error! Well, if I'm honest my brother-in-law bought it for us but I told him where to find it. While pregnant with my daughter, I began to pay attention to all the gadgets and gizmos my friends with children had so I could be one step ahead of the game (ha ha - who was I kidding!?!). I noticed that one of my friends had an inflatable travel seat ('the first years' On-the-go Booster Seat) which she used in restaurants and when visiting friends. It was quite small when folded up (approx 15 cm square by 6 cm deep), which appealed to me as I am always looking for space saving products. It was good but I was not entirely convinced that it was robust enough. Also, it was really hard to clean and always...

More Ben Folds Five
Review of Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five by
Reinhold-Messner
Advantages: Great band
Disadvantages: Not enough coverage
...I hope British radio and television discover Ben Folds Five soon. I'm a big fan but have never heard their songs on national radio and have only ever seen a couple of their video's on the sky digital channel MTV2.
Not only do they have catchy tunes but their songs also have great and often very funny lyrics. They are also unique in that they are a three piece, with the main sound coming from Ben Folds' piano.
I'm sure that if they got more coverage they would be as big in Britain as bands like Blur, Pulp and Supergrass....

More Ben Folds Brilliance
Review of Songs For Silverman (+DVD/Book) - Ben Folds by
ruth_emily
Advantages: Very nicely presented
Disadvantages: Doesn't fit in your CD holder seeing as it's in a book
...Ben Folds, and I think any fan should love it, but I think a Ben Folds Five album (Whatever and ever Amen, perhaps) would be a better introduction for a Ben Folds virgin.
Particular high points of this album for me are tracks 1 ('Barstard'), 2 ('You to Thank'), 4 ('Landed', which he has released as a single) and 8 ('Late'). There four all have really catchy, beautiful melodies and are quite similar to some of Folds' earlier work. The end of the album is probably the weakest part; the last three tracks ('Sentimental Guy', 'Time' and 'Prison Food') are ok, but not as memorable as the other songs. They also don't provide the same quality of ending that I am used to in Folds' previous albums (both solo and with Ben Folds Five). While previous albums have ended with really hauntingly beautiful songs, this album's ending is more mediocre...

The reasons to buy this are five fold
Review of Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five by
mussonanna
Advantages: original, uplifting
Disadvantages: an acquired taste
...I recently rediscovered this album, after about 8 years and have fallen in love with it all over again.
If you are not acquainted with the lovely Ben Folds. then it is well worth a listen. if you are already a fan, and you havent got this album, then buy it now!!
This album brings back happy memories of studying for my A levels, it is an original album with a quirky style, that you either love or hate. The songs on the album are clevery written with a strong piano base, with a sense of rythmn that's captured and reinforced within the music and not just the drums, you really 'feel' them. It's impossible not to take notice and get involved with each song.
There are 12 songs on the album: Jackson Calvary, Philosophy, Julianne, Wheres Summer B?, Alice Childress, Underground, Sparts and Wine, Uncle Walter, Best Imitation of Myself...

Fold and Off we go
Review of Folding Toilet Training Seat by
Groovee
Advantages: folds and fits easily into a bag
Disadvantages: bit hard to sit on
...Last summer, when my then 2 year old was potty training, it came to my attention that she was a bit small for sitting on big toilets when we went out. I lost count of the number of times she fell down the loo!
I had remembered seeing a folding seat in a magazine and found it in Blooming Marvellous, but after a few failed attempts to order it from the net, I ended up going to the Tesco website and getting it for £7.99 plus £3 packing. I recently saw the seat in John Lewis but didn't notice the price. The seat is called a toodle Loo seat!
My package arrived 3 days later while I was on holiday and it appeared to have disappeared until my mother in law announced that she had a parcel for me!
My A5 sized enveloped contained a plastic bag, sort of like what some toys come in now, with a handle which would make it easy to carry. I...
