...When I purchased my Ipod nano, I have heard plenty about how easily they are damaged so I made sure along side its purchase I ordered a case. I chose this on because it was a Belkin case which I like that brand. It also was white to match the Ipod and it also looked quite appealing to me for my tastes. Unfortunately the case was quite expensive coming in at about 15 pounds from the apple website but at least I was pleased to se it came with a "free/something to make it seem like your money was well spent" screen protector. The protector itself is a little film of plastic that is non-adhesive so it does not stick to your screen for easy removal. The case is made of nice looking quality leather. ...First the technical stuff, the case is made of plastic, ethylene-vinyl acetate actually, which is a form of soft thermoplastic, including recycled materials, so you could say you are doing your bit for the environment. The outer covering is hardwearing Nylon. The carry case comes complete with a wrist strap, although personally I would not trust it. It has an improved zip, apparently the old one was prone to jamming. The picture Ciao have put up is of the old model, the new one is very similar, just a little more subtle. These cases are a good idea for keeping dust and scratches at bay, however, it may have been a better idea if the case was fitted with belt loops, so you could carry it on your belt, or a strap like binoculars have, rather than risk it slipping out of your pocket, or even leaving it in the car. ...Background to Vanguard Until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing camera bags, binoculars, tripods and cases for guns to name a few products. This companies customers include major camera manufacturers. Vanguard Camera Case For a camera case it is a low priced entry level camera case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a camera inside the pouch. The camera case is black coloured throughout. The case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the pouch. ...Krusell Cabriolet - LG Viewty Leather case Having just updated my mobile handset to the LG Viewty I was keen to get a case which would keep it in slightly better shape than my last mobile which I'd throw around everywhere and toss into my bag. There didn't seem to be many Viewty cases on the market, several were generic ones a bit like a solid sunglasses case which shut with a magnetic popper - something I wasn't keen on as I'd have to keep taking it in and out of the case to use it, and also having read somewhere (although this may not be factually acurate) that the magnet could affect the internal workings of the phone. Die Another Day (2002) - Pierce Brosnan Like many Bond fans I already owned many of the films included in the case and so had to think twice about upgrading my Special Edition Bond collection to the Ultimate Edition. The age of some of the films meant that some of the DVDs I had were of poor quality the Ultimate edition features newly restored picture and soundtrack on each film and is easily worth the £200+ fee alone. In the titles (paricularly the earlier entries). Colours are richer and deeper, the prints are sharper and in dark sequences, what were on the originals merely blocks of black, now show up all sorts of intricate detail in the shadows. You don't buy this camera because you want to be Liebowitz or Lynley, you buy this camera because you want to take photos of your friends on your nights out, and you want to look really cute while you do it. Perhaps I'm being harsh - the litle digicam does have an impressive specification. The other reason I got this case was that the camera is small and I just wanted it in a casing so it would be easier to handle and it wouldn't just slip out of my pocket easily. ...that is attached directly to the camera. Under the flap, is a pocket that is designed to hold spare memory cards. I have three in there but it's elasticated and will easily hold more. There are three plastic loops on the case. One on the back for the wrist strap and two on the side for the shoulder strap. On the rear, there is a velcro belt loop. This easily covers all the bases for options when carrying the thing around. If you have one of the compatible Canon PowerShot cameras then I would recommend this case on the basis that it is a great match for that range of cameras. It's not worth saving a couple of quid on a generic case because you can be sure that this one does everything most people would expect from a case.
